  1. for information regarding the fuel pump, they go weak idle all day but full power they will not supply enough fuel to keep going, what I found Walmart sells the fuel pump for under 20 dollars, here I have to order on line keep a couple around, one in the glove box
  2. couple ideas, its fuel issue, could have ice crystals in fuel tank, throw some additive in the fuel second fuel pump, saw this several times pump seems to work but not to capacity required for loading high rpm motor
  3. agree its dirty, and about 4 hours of time not rushing, since mid 90s have 3 mules, two 601s and a 550, since new changed oil yearly, tried to claim warranty on the 550 for the splines wearing out and axle not engaging, dealer said wearable item the hub cost 125, so in 18 years never received any warranty, so spending 600 per machine each year for service would be a waste. all repairs would amount to under 1000 including two front fenders, also never buy extended warranty on vehicles either, touch wood its worked out in my favor
  4. I must be in the wrong business, 600 for a service, oil change, filter and adjust valves? my machines get oil change, filter change and as of this summer adjusted the valves on a 2006 610, they were starting to get noisy, its not rocket science
  5. mixture screw would be my guess, in the service manual it gives the setting, you can fine tweak it but if I had to guess the main jet is obstructed
  6. had the same issue runs great but full speed runs fir 60 seconds and bogs down, mine was fuel pump, OEM 70 dollars try Walmart 17 dollars, ordered 2 and have a spare in the glovebox. you can take the metal ones apart but not worth fixing, new ones are plastic, for the cost I recommend replacing the hose from pump to crankcase,
