  7. I figured ot the fuel pump went bad. I want to know why. Could it be the fuel controller? Set at 60 lbs? Or just because they go out sometimes?
  8. I just finished a rear cage mod for my kids a month ago. 2scoops also has had this done. I will try to post some pics so you can see. I used a corbeau 40 inch seat with the three point belts from a rzr. The cage was custom built and I can fit average size adults back there too. The whole thing cost me 1200 bucks.
  9. I put a battery charger for a source and the pump just hums, no pumping. I replaced the fuse and the relay. When I checked the relay connections from behind, 2 posts had power and the white wire on the right didn't have power but when I put the test light to it, it made the relay click. Not sure if that is normal or not. When I pressurized the tank fuel went through the pump. What's next?
  10. This happened to me last weekend. My brother in law was driving and the trooper just died . We still haven't had any luck restarting it. There is no fuel pressure and no fuel coming from the pump outlet. I am just assuming a bad pump, what do you guys think?
  11. My fuel pressure is running at 60 psi on the gauge. Should I lower it and if so how?
  12. my 1348 seemed to thread on just fine. It didn't feel like it cross-threaded at all. Did they change the threads at some point during the build?
  13. I just put on a napa 1348, it is a bit larger, but it seems to seal fine.
  14. The campsites start just up the road from the Hells Revenge trailhead. There are several campgrounds throughout the park as you go up the road.
  15. Porcupine is a fun trail. It is different in that it isn't much slickrock, it runs up the mountain. It goes to the Castle Valley overlook which is really neat. There are some fairly technical spots that make the trail fun. I did test it. There were several hills that bogged me down with out the controller that now I can just idle up. It absolutely makes a difference.
  16. What part of Montana are you from?
  17. This is the trailhead to hells revenge which is at the entrance to sand flats state park, Start of Trail: 38°34'33.60"N, 109°31'21.34"W
  18. Sand flats is the state park that is home to hells revenge, fins n things, and porcupine. Also home to the famous slickrock bike trail. It is just few minutes from town to the east.
  19. Tell me about it. It's a twelve hour drive just to get there from my house. I guess since I go twice a year, I must love it to take that drive.
  20. I have done the escalator a couple of times in the Trooper. The first time I went right after a RZR S. The S had to really hit the first wall and almost jump over it, but the trooper crawled over it first try. I think now with the power coming in sooner due to the fuel controller a guy could walk a trooper up that super easy. The key is to take the right line as with any obstacle. I LOVE Moab.
  21. Wish I could go. Maybe when I go in October you can get down there too. I am getting my seat and cage built next week so I will be more family friendly for the trip. Let me know how it goes and how the skid plate holds up.
  22. My trooper didn't have the clear hose on the vacuum side of the regulator. Should it be there? Second, what settings are you guys finding the best on the controller. I haven't tested mine yet, but i am not sure what mode and what "stage 1-8" is going to be best. I am going to want more power at low rpm mostly in first to do rock crawling. As far as i could tell, the controller had one green led lit at idle. Is this normal.
  23. The more I play and work on my trooper the more I love it too. The only time I lose to my dads rzr4 is on steep technical rock crawling but I just bought the fuel controller so maybe I can get that low end grunt I need to beat him there too.
  24. Well its the dealer that sold it to me and he does still service them.
  25. They took the diff apart looked it over and loctited the set screws for the pins because the one had fallen out.
