BeeZee62, looks like you are right. I think I must of had a quick look at the drivers head gear and thought it was a scarf or something, but it is not. It's a hoody or rain jacket. My mistake, so sorry to all the ladies out there for taking a cheap shot. As it turns out maybe the wife should do more of the driving. Regardless, great photos. Cheers Mike.

Just saw this on another forum & thought I would share. Open the first photo before moving on. What happened next? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>> >>>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>> >>>> >>> >> > Now, I'm not going to say, "don't let the wife drive". Nope, I'm not going to say that at all. Women are good drivers too. In fact, that took a lot of skill, I think.............enjoy. Cheers Mike.

Sorry Jeff, my Kiwi slang is getting the better of me again. That roughly means in the old days, "my Grandma grows the best fruit, veggies and nuts known to man". Used in language today translates to, it will be fine". So RTV Silicone would be OK to use on your valve cover. Cheers Mike
-
As far as I understand silicone is fine for everything except direct contact with gas, regardless I've used silicone on a 350 rocker cover with no problems before and it was RTV Silicone. I just found the old tube and the specs are, resists aging, temp range is -50C to 205C water, oil, grease and vibration. Jeff, RTV Silicone for your valve cover will be as sweet as Nanas nuts or I am a Polaris fan. Cheers Mike.

ANNOUNCEING 2011 JOYNERS COMING SOON
brostar replied to silverbullet's topic in New Product Showcase
joynerpartsclerk, listen to the wise words rocmoc is giving you. What you are telling us though is you are a man with a lot of Joyner knowledge and passion. If I was the powers that be, I'd have you as head of parts dept. in a flash. JMC took months to get it's website up and running and in my point of view, it's poorly done. I think it is just a case of, nothing to sell and not much to do. Hang in there man, because when the phone starts ringing and orders start following, I have a sneaky suspicion that, you will be one of the first people they will call. Cheers Mike. -
Hi Jeff, I've just found your old post about half doors for your Kubota RTV900 to go with your Curtis Cab & Windshield. If your still looking, we have a new line of mud stopper half doors just released for most UTV models. They are canvas, but will still keep your legs contained in an event of a rollover and will stop most mud and sand from entering the cab, thrown up from your front wheels. Only full doors will give you maximum protection there. I haven't got a photo of a RTV900 with the new half doors yet but will give you a link showing a John Deere Gator to give you an idea. The link is Pacific Eagle UTV Enclosures For materials & Colours, scroll down to the bottom of this page KUBOTA - Pacific Eagle UTV Enclosures Cheers Mike.

They say, "good things are worth waiting for". That been said, this website must be Ka pai, (very, very good)I haven't had a look yet but will do after I post this. The link is Welcome To JMC MOTORS Cheers Mike.

I agree total. These enclosures are more expensive as opposed to our stock Joyner Enclosure because only the best quality materials are used and that seems to be the case for most other parts available. Aftermarket parts for any UTV are very important to the stock manufactures too, whether they realise it or not. What I mean by that is, when a potential customer is looking at buying a UTV, ATV, Motorbike or a Jeep, they are also looking at how they can personalize it. All Powersports manufactures need a good supple of alterative parts to make their brand stand out. What No Limits, Silver Bullet, Fast Freddie's and even our own Lenny are doing by offering aftermarket parts is making Joyner UTV's stand out, but we need more and so does JMC. If I got a Trooper or a Renegade Enclosure made up, would there be anyone interested in buying one at cost (for testing purposes, wink, wink)? The Trooper stock enclosure looks good but the stitching is non-stretch and the zips are appalling. The Renegade Enclosure is fugly and is made to the same standard as unfortunately as the Trooper. Funny enough, the Commando is the pick of the three. Cheers Mike.

I recently started selling GCL UTV Enclosures but like most aftermarket suppliers, Joyner isn't catered for. The stock Joyner Enclosures are basic so there is room for an aftermarket enclosure to enhance your UTV. GCL UTV have full enclosures with a folding Lexan Windshield which is a practically modular unit. That means for cold or wet days you keep the full enclosure complete, for spring and autumn zip the doors off or roll them back and you now have a mini cab. If you want the back window off, it zips off all the way and you end up with just the windshield and top. If you don't want the windshield on, just loosen the knob bolts on the six quick connect clamps and out that comes, but I would just open it. These would be great for your rainy seasons and in the snow that I hear about from you guys all the time over there. This isn't a sales pitch, well maybe it was if you have a Rhino, Mule, Big Red, RZR & so on, I just want to know, in your humble opinions, if there is a market for a Premium UTV Enclosure for our Joyners. The retail price would be about us$950 for a two seater enclosure as mentioned above and us$1100 for a four seater. Full soft enclosures (no Lexan windshield) for a two seater are about us$570. The attachments are a full soft enclosure for a 2010 Ranger two seater & a full enclosure with a Lexan Windshield for a Ranger Crew. For the poll tick yes or no and feel free to add any comments. Cheers Mike.

That's what I call, thinking outside the box.....excuse the pun. I gave up wondering how I could route a hose outside of my Enclosure and as the Trooper tray doesn't really get used that often, I reckon your idea is a good one. Personally, at some stage I'd like to use an air ram on top of the rear of the enclosure roof & then on to a box filter (not the stock 09 one) but that would have to evolve a quick release hose to open and close the tray or a hole in the enclosure. Speaking of Enclosures, I would be interested in knowing if anyone with a Trooper T2/T4, Renegade R2/R4 or Commando C2/C4 would considered a good quality American made aftermarket UTV Enclosure for their Joyner if available. Like Ernie, I'll start another topic to keep this one clear. Cheers Mike.
-
Ernie, your Trooper is one of the nicest looking ones I've seen. It looks fantastic. Can you tell me more about your Snorkel and how it's placed. Cheers Mike.
-
Have you thought of trading the T4 in for a brand new 2010 T2 or even a second hand one? Cheers Mike
-
This sounds good for 5k or a trade 2008 Joyner Trooper for trade Cheers Mike.

Nice pictures and video. Farmington looks like a great place to play. It just goes to show how much more detail a video will show of the terrain than a still. How did the Renegade go, I bet it held it's own and how many UTVs turned up? Cheers Mike.

It sort of reminds me of an old 10cc Song I was walkin' down the street Concentratin' on truckin' right I heard a dark voice beside of me And I looked round in a state of fright I saw four faces one mad A brother from the gutter They looked me up and down a bit And turned to each other I don't like Jarrad's Trooper I love it I don't like UTVs I love them Don't like Farmington, I love her (New Mexico Holiday) To every one going, have a bloody good time. I reckon that old 10cc song would sound pretty good blasting out of your new stereo set-up Jarrad. Cheers Mike.

Hi Andrew and welcome. You should be able to buy a stock spare wheel off any Joyner Dealer or ITP is a good aftermarket choice. You will need to get a 27-8-12 front wheel spare because it will fit front and rear. A rear wont fit on the front. I would keep a spare as low down as possible to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible or get some wheel spacers as shown in the 2nd link. Here are some links: R4 Renegade 800 Accessories - No Limits Powersports Accessories by Vehicle, Renegade R4 - Silver Bullet Motorsports, Inc - Yuma AZ - Team Joyner USA http://www.itptires.com/side_by_side_wheels.html Fix-A-Flat - Car Care Products- A easy way to fix a flat tire Not sure if this works but sound good. I can't help with the radio. Cheers Mike.

No Problem, hopefully you will get what you want for your T4. Cheers Mike.

I know the Renegade has a high output alternator to cope with 2 Head Lights 2 Fog lights and 7 Spotlights. that's 11 in total. I don't think the Trooper would have a less capable alternator so should be fine. They look really good, your have to buy two more now. Cheers Mike.

Man those things look dangerous to me. What happens if it initially grips and then pulls out with say just 1000lb of pull? You get a 1000lbs of of ugliness coming right at you. The Troopers stock winch is rated at 3500lb so lets not even go there. In super soft sand or quicksand, I think it would behave in the same manner as your buried stake. If you are in the soft stuff, it doesn't matter if it's mud or sand, anchored products like the Pull Pal don't get a secure grip. Hard ground is fine but the work is hard too, digging it in and then getting it out. Not sure if these are available in America, but if they aren't they should be. They are called MaxTrax and retail here in NZ for nz$500.00 or about us$330. Here is a video of them in action. Cheers Mike.

The guy I bought my trailer off was selling it because he was going to use a A frame to tow his 4x4 behind his Motor Home. Like this one . He also had a separate light board that went on the rear of the towed vehicle, you can get magnetic ones, but he was going to get an auto sparky to tap into the excising lights on the 4x4. These are road legal over here but might not be for you. I would not tow my Trooper with this set-up with the stock tires, only road tires and if I remembered correctly, he said that he stopped every 200 - 250 km/h and started his towed 4x4 to lube the gearbox. One bonus is the Trooper and Renegade odometers are digital so wont increase the mileage Cheers Mike.
