  1. Super easy fix . I uploaded a picture of the battery box with the turn signal relay marked with a blue arrow. The next picture is form Amazon where I bought a $11 part . I unplugged the old relay and installed the new one in maybe 30 seconds. Now turn signals are fine and I have the option of speeding them up or slowing them down . Problem solved .
  2. Could you take a picture of your relay and where it is located in your UTV. Even if I can find a replacement I'm not sure where the relay is. Or if anyone with a working turn signal can post a picture of the relay in its correct position that would help immensely.
  3. I took in my UTV and they fixed the no power I was having ( broken ground wire) but they told me I would need a new turn signal relay . If you use the left or right turn signal you get a high pitched whine . I need to look to see if the lights blinks but I don't believe it does. I thionk the relay is located in the battery box with the fuses and starter solenoid. Where might I find a turn signal relay . I have done several searches but come up empty . Anyone have this problem before or know where I might purchase a relay ?
  4. I had a problem 6-8 mo ago when the unit would not start . But you could see power on the dash. The starter solenoid was replaced and it has been fine until yesterday. When I started it up I noticed a high pitched noise coming from under the front. Like a alarmbuzz ..It seemed to drive fine so I went ahead and used it off and on for a hour or so . The noise would not go away . I parked it in the shed and lifted the hood . It seemed to be coming from the battery compartment ( where the new starter solenoid is) I jiggled the connections and the noise changed timbre and then the machine went dead. No power at all . No lights . When you cross the two poles on the starter solenoid ( previously last year it would start and run ) nothing. Checked the battery and it is fully charged . I checked the fuses inside the battery box and they all looked good but I must be missing something. Anyone have a clue what I need to do next to R&R. The closest repair place is 2 hours away in Mississippi . Any help would be appreciated.
  5. Turns out it was the starter solenoid relay . The one I replaced it with was bought on Amazon and simply did not work. I got a second more reliable relay and now it starts without any problem. The reverse light indicator turned out to be a loose wire. Just thought you guys would like to know the outcome. TWM
  6. I replaced the starter solenoid relay. It made absolutely no difference. When I tell you that I turn the key and I hear a click it's a single click and it's very very faint. The lights on the instrument panel continue to show the reverse lit as well as any other gear that you put it in.
  7. any idea where that switch is located so I can check it?
  8. I was driving the UTV the other day when it simply died. I was using the sprayer which might have drained the 3 year old battery and the stator didn't recharge it. I towed it to my shop and charged the battery . The next morning it cranked first time and I drove it home . I parked it and turned it off . I then tried to crank it and it would only make a weak click noise . I changed the battery and the voltage regulator but it would still only click. I noticed on the digital display that the reverse light was illuminated and would stay illuminated no matter what gear I selected . If I put it in low that light would light but the reverse light stayed on . Same thing for neutral . I shorted the two poles on the starter solenoid with the key on and it cranked up easily and idled fine. You could put it in reverse and it would move backwards and you could put it in low and it would drive forward. The entire time the reverse light stayed on . I checked the fuses and they all looked good . So lets say I get a new started solenoid . If I replace it and it now starts with the key what is the issue with the reverse light . Is it harmful? What else needs to be done to correct ? Any ideas out there.
