  1. Unpinning this years jamboree so it can move down the list, it will come back to the top of the unpinned stuff when Rocmoc adds his photos.
  2. After you unhooked the fan, could you hear the fuel pump running? or just click? and was the click from the fuel pump or some relay clicking in?
  3. My right rear wheel bearing has gone bad and made lots of horrid noises before I got it into the garage, I'm trying to break the 36mm nut so I can get at everything, but so far, all I have broken is my 1/2" breaker bar, I guess 6' of extension pipe was a bit too much - busted the 1/2" square piece, banged my wife's shin and bent a lug bolt that I'll have to replace. Called a friend and he came over with his 3/4" drive set and broke the nut loose while I stood on the brakes with 4 X 4 and lockers. Any advanced advice for what I'm going to find, I'm done with it for the day and going to go play with the grand kids. Kinarfi
  4. That's 30 MPH through a creek or stream or puddle of clear water, I'm sure there's a video in the forum to show you how it's done. Also practiced on hot days. Kinarfi
  5. Depending on your local water, I always use a mix of 50% distilled water, if not available, I use RO water
  6. I really love my General Grabber AT2 27x8.50 R14 95Q 6PR OWL tires I just don't see the need for big lugs on the tire, on a tractor that has to pull a plow, ok but not MY Trooper. I also like the way the rubber protects the edge of my rims. http://ssl.delti.com/tyre-pictures/General/GRABBERAT2.jpg
  7. I have Lenny's steering box top cover and I get that metal to metal slamming noise too & I think it's the stock shock, getting ready go for short ride up canyon so I may try something in the limit strap department as a test. I think I've already release the nitrogen charge and backed off the adjustment nuts as far as possible. Kinarfi
  8. Sure wish she didn't have such a sour voice!!! Kinarfi
  9. I agree with Lenny and hope I haven't overstated the no see um problem, the jamboree was definitely a good time, in spite of the little pests, but I want to get set up for my other outings so I can further enjoy them. Wheres the next one gonna be. I'm looking at foggers, to kill off the pest, but may get the good bugs, mosquito traps, should get most blood sucker, and other things. I think at our jamboree campsite, a fogger would have worked real well, as there were no other insects that would have been effected, but in a mountain camp site, a fogger would kill off the dragonflys and the mosquito catching spiders and such. I'm thinking mosquito trap may be best, but it doesn't get the regular house flies that are a pain when in the mountains. Think I'll start a new thread and copy this to there - Camping environment - Other than deet and repellents, has any one tried any thing else? Kinarfi

  11. After getting punctured several times by the no see ums at the jamboree, I've been plotting a revenge on them and their kind. Has anyone ever tried fogging a place like our camp area for bugs, what fogger did you use and did it work. I would suspect Rocmoc would have used or seen them used in his travels, have you? Sure seems like a good idea to have one, if they work! Kinarfi
  12. Good job Lenny, I guess I forgot to put my link in, May I suggest the use of the slide show option under the photo. Kinarfi
  13. You may need to pull the fuse/relay holder and see if the wires have gotten hot and corroded of discolored the connections which would indicate the need to replace some of the wiring. If your into or know some one who is, you may want to replace the relays with P channel FETs that are hard wired it and not plugged into a connector. The fan is powered up with one relay and the fuel pump with another, so your problem is probably that is common to both. Take a look at the parts and pieces thread and down load the schematic. 14. Got my videos downloaded to U-Tube, Webshots doesn't seem to be able to handle MP4 videos, but U-Tube does so here's what I got I don't claim to any good at it but take a look and I hope you enjoy them. Kinarfi
  15. I was the last to arrive and that was Wednesday Evening and the other were out on a ride when I got there. The no see ums were prolific and very annoying and it got hot shortly after arrival, Rocmoc brought that with him. There were 5 couples, (Lenny) and Jeanie, (Rocmoc) Mike and Rochell, (Dpostma) Dick and Leona, John and Janie (RZR) and (Kinarfi) Jeff and Linda. Good rides of various terrains, got stopped by the snow at the top of Bull Mountain and parked for a break under the shade of a HUGE rock over hang. Some didn't like my sending them down a box canyon that got very narrow Only saw one other soul out there and he was cutting fuel wood at the top of the mountain with his dog and quad, nice guy. More info will trickle in as others add their comments & picts. Kinarfi
  16. All done, it's over and as I left, the last one out, I was having some trouble getting the motor home to run, out of gas on one tank and the other tank(full) not pumping well, finally got it, but I saw a Ranger looking the site over, I think we got a B+ because we left some wood and dumped some water, but I asked him what was biting us and he said it was the no see ums (google It) and that they didn't bite, they spit acid on you and then drank the acid up and what the acid had digested of us and that it was the acid that makes us itch, so thinking acid, I decided to try neutralizing it with a paste made from baking soda, seems to work, itched all the way home and it quit with the baking soda & water paste rubbed on it. The spitting acid and not biting was not confirmed by google, but the baking soda made mine quit itching. Oh yea, good rides, more details coming from others and when photos get posted. We had 5 rig, 4 Trooper and 1 RZR and 10 great people.
  17. I over torqued mine and busted the terminal off, so I soldered a piece of wire to it and capped that end with silicone and use wire nuts, no problems since. Kinarfi
  18. http://www.discovermoab.com/campgrounds_blm.htm Here's a link to some out lying camp sites, two that I have used are #21 (good camp sites near good trails, Hoorah and kane springs) and #16 (sand and gravel roads and you can go down to the river on a switch back, easy driving. FREE, Dry
  19. I have it in mind to at least look at Hell's revenge area, saw it from the air once when I was down there with my plane, but I doubt I'll be able to follow the other 2 amigos, that's why I should be chase but I like being steve! My sweetheart isn't anxious to get into the rocks to much. That said, depending on wants and desires, May go out Kane Creek Blvd, that's the south east side of the river, about 10 miles where you can dry camp for free. From there, you have hoorah pass and Kane Springs road, Love that road, gets into the river bottoms, but it's easy going, both of them. Other wise you could go out 313 and take a right at mineral bottoms road down to the river and go along the river. Kinarfi
  20. I have the steel Jeri cans, so I carry my fuel, it works in the camper too, so I don't have to worry about running out. I can't us 110 in my rig, so I'll be looking for lowest price, Out in the booneys is free, but a long ways from town. Steve M. but maybe I should be chase, since I'm usually in the rear, but I like Steve.

  22. I don't know if you have shims, but you should put together a shim kit that has 16 of every size available, then when someone does a cam or a valve job or just needs to do a tune up, they rent your shim kit and when they return it with there used shims, you return a portion of the rent according to how many of your shims they used. Just a thought. Kinarfi
  23. An awful lot of personal verbiage here, so for the sake of directions and direct information, I'm breaking out the eraser and going nuts with it, Sorry for deleting your conversations!!!
