  1. if that also controls the brake lights then the switch is working, I cleaned it anyway based on your comment and it hasn't helped unfortuantely
  2. the regen braking on my e1 has stopped working unless (for eg) I am going down a hill in low and it's slowing things down to stick to the 10kph limit. when I drive and take my foot off the accelerator it's not initiating the regen to slow things down and instead just coasts at whatever speed it is at, or speeds up as the regen is not limiting it. the brake lights work, so it's probably not a fault with the sensor on the brake pedal hoping someone else might be able to provide some suggestions on things to check, as the mob that I bought it off seem to have gone silent on me
  3. you've got 4 that are all 48v x 30ah yeah, doesn't that mean you get 120ah of capacity if they are in parallel? or am I missing something....
  4. so about 30km range? (unless my math sucks)
  5. @BuggyBoy it'd be good to hear about the range when you get a bit of annecdata!
  6. bloody hell, 5K for that is a bit much for me! 🤣 nice work though, glad to hear they slot in well and are making a big difference. I'd be interested to see what the range/use is like now
  7. for the aussies here - https://outbax.com.au/products/voltx-12v-100ah-bluetooth-daly-smart-lifepo4-battery is on special if you use the code from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/867838
  8. I wonder if something like https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005004622768370.html or https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005006129467622.html would work both 48v, single unit, bms included. the only question would be if they are ip rated at all (which I can't find info on). they only seem to offer 50A sustained output though
  9. that's fantastic, thanks for sharing! did you happen to grab photos of the the new layout?
  10. heh, just get https://www.bigw.com.au/product/voltx-48v-100ah-pro-lithium-battery-lifepo4-100a-bms-deep-cycle-rv-camping/p/9900111907 and then use 5% off vouchers and your rewards 10% off for the month on that, save a fair whack of change! I also found https://www.solarbatterywarehouse.com.au/solar-battery-shop/fusion-solar-agm-batteries-6v-5lang-bc89t-6c2c2-sswn5 for a bit cheaper, so there's other options out there if you want to go a single big unit. or https://au.renogy.com/core-12v-24v-48v-100ah-deep-cycle-lithium-iron-phosphate-battery/#op={"id"%3A509%2C"options"%3A[{"optionId"%3A"252"%2C"value"%3A"485"}]} for something that might be drop in for an even cheaper price
  11. spoke to litime and they don't have the 48v batteries in au, with no short term plans to sell them
  12. in au the relion are being replaced with allion, at least according my local RJ batteries shop I am keen to look at the litime, but finding a local 48v is proving a bit hard. 12v at 50ah can be picked up on eBay for well under $300 each though
  13. another aussie with an e1 looking to change the batteries! this thread is tops, so thanks to everyone who's shared details looks like litime will be decent and reasonably easy to get (ebay or direct from them). the relion are only available at rj batteries, and they don't publish prices online which is pretty crappy also I posted about my experience a few years ago if anyone is interested -
