Hello, All! I've decided to replace the traction batteries in my 2018 Sector E1 with a 48V Lithium set. They may be expensive, but I figure the Discovery Dry Cell are, too. I am not looking for the max driving range, as I have never received near the brochured range to begin with, but a good mix of charge/ get work done/ charge is what I am expecting. I have settled on the 48V EAGL kit from bigbattery dot com. Each battery pack provides 30Ah. The kit ships with a charger, as well. The packs would be physically connected in parallel (using a busbar) to one another, maintaining the 48V voltage, but together would be able to provide the amp draw the buggy pulls when going up hill or towing a rake (rated 320 max continuous Amps). This is in comparison to the serial connection the eight 6V lead batteries. Each of the EAGL batteries looks to have its own BMS; am I correct in thinking I will have to use their included charger rather than (simply) changing the onboard charger to lithium mode? The chemistry of the pack is LiFe PO4, for what it's worth. I haven't torn anything apart yet (to diagram), so I am not sure how the dash will interpret the AMP draw, but the kit I am looking at includes a dash mounted charge indicator. If anyone has completed a similar conversion, do you have any tips? Specifically, how did you remove the original batteries, and how did you secure the new ones? I am guessing that almost any change from the stock batteries would involve at least some modifications. Any tips would be appreciated, especially things I may have failed to consider. Thanks!

Hello, Background: Bought a used 2012 700, added 2 small LED lights, wiring for a sprayer and changed front CV axles. Had no electrical issues until recently. The old battery stopped charging so we got a new one, Rhino still wouldn't charge it. -Started next day, drove 15-20min, then out of nowhere the check engine light came on and temp too. 4WD started to automatically engage and disengage repeatedly. Charging display started jumping all around between 11 to 13 to 15v. -Relays, fuses, and battery connections seemed good. -Continuity on rectifier would jump btwn OL and 00.0 -Rectifier wires from stator all read 20-21v at idle -Rectifier diode test had 1 bad reading. So, I replaced it with a new one (but still using original plugs) Started it up, still shows no change (12.1v idle, 12.8 with some RPM) Also, I feel like now I maybe also smell burning plastic? Does anyone have experience with this problem or have a recommendation of where to go next?

I have a HiSun Vector E1 (as they're called here in the UK) and have been running it for about a year now. It has an annoying problem that my dealer has not yet managed to fix. On a full charge, at the start of the day, it works fine - albeit not the quickest machine in the world. I use it on my hill farm here in Scotland, and it has to climb a bit, although nothing that would leave you out of breath walking. The E1 copes with these hills no problem, until it's done about four or five miles, then it starts to struggle noticeably, and throws of the 4C53 error on the dashboard readout - low voltage according to the manual. Sometimes it does this even while the charge level indicator is showing a full charge. It's been back to the dealers twice now, and they've replaced all of the batteries. I've emailed the UK distributor for HiSun in the hope of an answer, but as yet have had no response. My dealer is trying to get an answer from them too, before taking the machine back to try and fix it again. Meantime I can only use it for a short while each day. I'm no electrician, so has anyone on here any idea what might be going on? It seems that it is struggling to draw enough power from the battery pack going uphill, leading to a voltage drop that trips the error code. But if that's the case, then the E1 is surely not fit for purpose.

Does anyone know of a way to relocate the battery for the Pioneer 500 to under the seat or under the hood on a 2020 Model P500? Thanks.

Can someone tell me why the price of 8 volt batteries are high.? You can buy 12 volt trolling motor batteries for half the price of Golf Cart batteries. Also why do they use 8volt instead of 12 volt? Can you just replace six 8 volt with 4 12 volt ?

Morning, I just purchased a 2011 rhino and I got a massive battery drain coming from the backup fuse. 200Ma! I have a "juice box" ecu and I tried to find reviews on it as I also have a stalling issue when I get to a sudden stop and other forums seems to say it would be a crappy ECU. Not sure if I have a bad ecu that does both issues or if they are unrelated problems. Wondering if anyone here had an idea where I should poke at first. If someone could point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it Thanks!

Just joined this forum. I am a new owner of a used 2016 Cub Cadet Challenger 750 Crew. I bought it from a friend's wife after my friend suddenly passed away this Summer. We hadn't run it much since when he passed in July and I used it to do some light plowing on my driveway last month and a handful of times during hunting season. Then, we got blasted with bitter cold and 2 feet of snow last week and it wouldn't start. I assumed the battery was low (from JUN 2018) and put another lawn and garden battery on I had which was relatively new and unused. It runs a plow and a front and rear LED light too. It started right up with the new battery, but when my wife plowed with it for 10-15 minutes, it ran dead. It has 250 CCA (the previous one had 350 CCA). Not knowing any better, I jumped it with my car running and let that charge it for 1/2 hour but got the same thing....a few swipes with the plow and it was dead again. I left it on the charger overnight, hoping that will give it a full charge and that will take care of the problem but I don't want to find out it doesn't work when another storm comes. Should I get a new battery? What do you guys recommend that will run the motor, the plow and the extra lights and do you charge it often during cold weather? Wish my friend was around to ask him what he did but he's gone and I'm new at this. Thanks!

Hi all, I am looking at putting in a dual battery setup to my 2015 Mule 4010. Anyone put one of these in before? Most of the research has pointed me to the True Am kit. Didnt know if anyone had done this or had a battery strap down tray they recommend or anything. Between the Winch and the Stereo...and upcoming lights I want to be able to make sure it always starts. Thanks in advance, -Andrew

hi folks, I'm kinda new to these machines & am a new member. My question is this thing isn't charging the battery. When I run it it will last about 30 min then dies. Any ideas anybody? I ordered a new rectifier but it hasn't arrived yet

I am trying to figure out the type of battery that I should get for my 2013 Cub Cadet Volunteer. The old battery says it was 450 CCA, but I've been having trouble finding one with exactly that in the local stores. My wife picked up a 575CCA (26R) from OReillys. Will that work? Or will I ruin something by increasing the CCA? The attached image is of my old battery.

Got a brand new 4010 Trans Mule in 2015. Kills the battery after 3 days of no use. What the hell ? Previously I had a 3010 from 2007 and this never happened as it could go weeks without draining the battery. What is it with this 2015 model ??? Is it something to do with the new fuel injection and computer ? I'm just about fed up.
