I have a 2017 Intimidator XD4 800cc 4x4. It will run great and then it's like it goes into safe mode and only runs on 1 cylinder. It's not fouling out the plug when it happens. Some times when I stop and restart it, it works fine. First I thought it was a spark issue, then a fuel issue, but I feel like it's a short in the wiring some place.

2016 750efi new fuel pump supposedly...didn't run for 2 years changed plugs and battery ran good for about a hour died then drained battery...cleaned ground wire because it looked a little dirty charged battery now it will run but only if I'm giving it gas and randomly exhaust will glow red then cool back off...I'm thinking either tps or possibly valves or something electrical also curious if the exhaust system could be slightly clogged any info or pro tips would be cool just trying to get it going for a yard work type rig

Does anyone know a way to pull the primary clutch off intimidator 750 without clutch puller bolt?

I have had a battery failure with one of my batteries, maybe another coming soon and have decided to change all 8 out to US Battery XC1800's. Just to make sure I have the correct connections, can anyone post a few pictures of the battery connections and email me a copy? Just an FYI, the Dual Pro Eagle Performance onboard charger quit. I am not sure, at this point, whether it is the charger that has failed, or the bad battery causing a low voltage failure. This low voltage will cause the charger not to start, even though it may be still working. (2020 models and above have a different charger). The charger is back with DualPro awaiting a dignosis. If you need to remove the charger, to send back to DualPro, you will need to remove the electrical input port on the passenger side, and the output to the batteries. Then, remove a good number of black zip ties to free both cords. The charger itself is held on by 6 machine screws, 3 on each side of the brackets. Be careful, the charger weighs 27 lbs! The whole unit, including the cords needs to be sent back. The connections are soldered inside the charger and cannot be disconnected. Thanks, Graham ([email protected])

All, Have been looking into going the electric route. Currently have Deere and Kawasaki UTV's we use at our duck club. We've been thinking about going electric due to noticeable disturbance to the birds caused by engine noise. Anyway, it seems that the forums are somewhat devoid of Intimidator discussions regarding the good, bad and the ugly. Wanted to put this out there. I have also looked into the Polaris EV and have located one here in Missouri. Just an open question. I'd love to hear about anyone's experience with the electric Intimidator or the Polaris for that matter.

I have a 2013 Intimidator, which The first year it was produced. They are made in Arkansas and at one time we’re connected to the Bad Boy Company someway. Mine has a 747 cc Kohler engine. It is probably the same size as a Polaris or other buggies with comparable power. Does anyone know it there are companies who sell generic shocks/struts for buggies.

I have a 2013 Intimidator with a 750 Kohler V2 engine. In the future I thought about swapping the engine with something that has more power. Does anyone have experience with engine swaps? Also what about swapping it with a motorcycle engine. Mine has the CVT with a 2 speed transmission. This was the first edition of the Intimidator and they basically used a lawn mower engine, so it’s a loud and runs 30 mph tops.

The Intimidator is made in Arkansas and the company was affiliated with the Bad Boy products at one time. The engine is a Kohler 750. I replaced the flywheel and stator a year ago, so I feel like they are okay. The battery was replaced and all the cables are good, no corrosion. The wiring diagram shows a rectifier/regulator and an inline fuse that the manual said could be my charging problem. My questions are: 1. Are these rectifier/regulators some generic or, are they specific to each machine? 2. Are there UTV parts companies that handle parts for all brands of buggies? 3. If the answer to #2 is yes, could someone recommend the names of parts companies I could contact?
