Hi All, Just picked up a 2020 UT400 that my 80 year old father will be driving around the farm. We purchased the machine with a few "issues" and they lowered the price accordingly. Small stuff like passenger size mirror and back reflector was torn off by a Tractor supply employee, which we will order replacements for. Also after further inspection, whoever assembled it did not put a few bolts in the rollcage and aren't in the glovebox, so will be having to order those also. Anyway, there are two initial things on the UT400 I'm not sure what they are or for. The first, there is a square white electrical connector with about 8 pins hanging form under the middle of the back bed - I don't see another one to match up or plug into it, so wondering if this is pre installed optional connection for like towing around a sprayer? Anyone know what this is? Also, there is a 10 inch black rubber hose that is zip tied to the back A frame on the passenger side. I watched the assembly video and it doesn't mention one, so don't know what this hose is for - anyone know? Also, has anyone come up with a "fix" or work around for having to have the seatbelts plugged in or even in place? We aren't planning on using them and are figuring just plugging them in and wedging them behind the seats - didn't know if there is a way to just disconnect the "over 10mph gas starving" safety sensor. Looking forward to seeing how this machine does for my father. I'm thinking about installing a suicide knob on it for easier turning for him, as it's a little stiff (compared to our Kawasaki Mule). Maybe with use it will loosen up some? Thanks!

View File Outfitter-UT400-ShiftCable Adjustment I got this from Coleman, detailed instruction re: shift cable adjustment... I forgot to mention you will need two 22 mm wrenches for the cable lock nuts. I hacked up a couple of cheap "quality tools for less" combination wrenches using a cut-off wheel in an angle grinder: Kind of like "flare nut wrenches", good for light duty like this. View File HS400 Seat Belt Defeat and Oil Filler 3D Here are a couple more 3D printer files for the HS400/Coleman UT400 & Outfiltter 400. Included in the .zip file are my version of a seat belt interlock defeat insert (SeatBeltThing-01.stl)and an oil filler adapter allowing a 1/2"I.D. hose to be attached making adding oil a less messy operation (OIlFiller-whole-03.stl) --both may also work on other UTVs with similar the seat belt connectors and a 3/4" x 10 threaded dipstick... Well after a good buddy of mine shared how happy he was with a Massimo 500 I decided to pull the trigger on one of my own. Probably the main use will be dirt roads and trails near Baldwin Mi where I have a camp. But my town does allow them to be plated and driven on the road. Hope my experience is as good as my buddy's is. Behind it there is a 400 King quad that you cant see and a 86 CJ7 project and my 69 Baja bug.

Have a 2019 Coleman Outfitter 550. only 30 hrs on it. Just quit running. Found the F8 fuse blown. Replaced and blew again. Traced ALL wires and found nothing. Replaced all relays and fuse so it starts up but hit the brake pedal and it blows the fuse again and will not start. Retraced the wires and found nothing damaged. Any Ideas? Coleman is NO HELP at all

Machine sat and had multiple rodent chews thru out the wiring that we fixed. Also replaced the Following: ECU, Coil and Plug Wire, small Control Box that contains fuses and relays. Pick Up coil test at 219 ohms which is typically good on most machines but i can't find the specific manual on this thing to get the spec. Battery good, cranks fine but the fuel pump doesn't prime or run and no spark. Tested pump with direct 12volts and it works. If we supply a ground to the pump it primes and works but still no spark. We have traced all wiring including grounding and all is good. Tested key switch. I has (4) positions. 1 - off, 2 - does nothing, 3 - powers up everything (lighting and odometer and powers ECU, 4 - starts engine. The key switch only has 3 wires. 12v in from battery and 2 - 12v out which is power to the system and send 12v to starter relay coil. Are these electrical systems actually switching the grounds on and off vs the traditional switching the 12v+ on and off. at my wits end with this thing. Also when we figure this problem out we will post the solution. seems 90% of people that ask for help on these forums, never post the fix which make this pointless.
