working on a coleman 550 out fitter , had a shit load of codes, coil, injector , and the map sensor for fuel injector replaced all 3 and figured it would start , but no joy have spark (new plug also and inline fuel filter) cleared the codes and still have the engine light , turns over fine but damn thing still will not start, friends daughters were driving it and turned it off to park , and went back to start it and same thing turns over but will not start , with this machine anyone have any ideas as to what the hell , I should be looking for , no plug's unplug checked wires none seem to be pulled apart or broken !

Ok so it has spark. Next up fuel and compression.

Fuel:

Do you have fuel in the tank?

When you turn the key to on (don't start it) do you hear the fuel pump run for 5 seconds then turn off? Should be a hum from under the passenger seat area.

If those are both good pull the fuel line from the injector. It is right on top of engine. With the key switched on you should get a good fuel flow from that.

If that's good reconnect it and remove the injector. Ground the spark plug to prevent inadvertent sparks. Hold a rag over the eng of the injector and have someone crank the motor over. You should get sprays out of the injector.

Compression:

Check the engine compression by installing a compression tester in the spark plug hole. Ground out the sparkplug again, and crank the motor over for a few seconds. If the motor is in good shape you should get 150+psi. Below 120 psi it likely won't run at all. If the compression is lowI would check the valve lash adjustment, if that's ok I would add little oil to the cylinder and check compression again to see if the rings might be the issue.

Tools:

You can make a spark plug grounding tool with a bolt, a ring terminal, some short wire, and an alligator clip. The bolt goes in the spark plug boot, ring terminal attaches the wire to the bolt, and alligator clip attaches the wire to a metal spot on the engine. This will prevent damage to the coil from having to jump a long gap, and prevent sparking when working with atomized fuel checking the injector.

You can buy a cheap compression tester from Amazon or harbor freight.

Let me know where you get to and we can further troubleshoot as you narrow down any issues.

I have all the tools needed , I work on my own stuff which are Polaris's looking at this for a Neighbor because he took it to a coleman dealership and they had it for 7 weeks and gave it back all apart , so he asked me to take a look at it , just running into a lot of things I have never seen , and the coleman manuals are incomplete when it comes to trouble codes Example no reference to Code E200 , which I know is electrical from the E in front of the code, was told that a new Brain was installed prior to me looking at it, was also told that my neighbor was told that it had to be flashed to his perticular machine, which I have never heard of ? , but I am going to check compression and timing chain play ,just never have had electrical current come through a plug wire just by turning the key on and this kind of back pressure come out through the air intake !! so Know what to check but figured I would ask people who own this perticular model, thanks

E means error code, not electrical. All the low 200's codes are having to do with fuel & fuel injection. 201 is injector #1 circuit error. There is no 200 listed in the coleman/hisun/delphi literature. you can download the Delphi mt-05 manual online, but 90% of it is already tacked onto the end of the hisun service manuals anyway.

The ecu is a Delphi mt-05. There is no flashing. There is a way to read the parameters and codes using $25 in cabling and free software. I have a thread below that explains the process. You can also adjust some parameters, but there shouldn't be a need to do that it should run off the shelf.

If there's backpressure coming out the intake I would suspect the timing is way off or the valve lash is too tight and the intake valve is staying open thru the compression stroke. I have seen a number of people have timing chain tension issues so it's possible that it's skipped several teeth and is off timing. If you pull the plug, and the fan cover you can spin it over by hand to TDC and check the valve lash easily, so that's where I'd start. You can see the cam from there so it should be obvious if it's way out of time.

I just bought a new 2024 Hison 550 Stryker 2 months ago. this is the second time I have had this issue.  It only has about 20 hours on it. The last time it happened we took it back to the dealer. it was a fuse.  Since we live three-hour time driving there and back. I would like to find another solution if possible.  I have tried all the fuses that seem to have anything to do with starting.  Currently checking the battery. The battery is new. it came with the unit. It is probably 6 months old.  the UTV has all power to everything electrical. lights turn signals and radio all work.  When trying the key to start . it is 100% dead. as in it doesn't even click.  There is a low whirring like the fuel pump is turning on though. The Unit was running and driving just fine.  we shut it down for the night. The next morning my wife found it in this condition.  Thanks for any Ideas or solutions???   Otherwise, it goes back to the dealer tomorrow. Just hope I didn't buy a lemon. Great little UTV when it does run.😅  anyone else ever have this Issue..?

My older LM 650 is blowing fuel into the air cleaner.  Any idea on what would cause this?  It is the Suzuki motor.  Not sure what model year it is.
      Thanks

Just bought a brand new 760 about a month ago. I'm at 20 hours which the book says is when you need to change the break in oil.

I must be crazy, but I can't find the oil filter. I've googled a million videos...everything seems to be 2019 or lower...and/or a 550.  They all show the filter easily seen by looking in past the rear passenger tire on the engine. There is absolutely nothing there on mine.

1.there seems to be very little info if you Google a 760, or anything Massimo newer than like 2019.

      2. Does anyone have a current model year 760 that can answer my riddle for me?

2021 Hisun Axis 500 UTV (From Lowes)
      Will NOT START
MY apologies if this is to much info just wanted to give yal the most information possible for help.
I'm a so called diyer. An Electrician by trade 21yrs. I got my S×S from my last job. The contractor purchased this S×S for this specific job brand new, from Lowes. They used it for hauling materials, tools, & a little bit of anything you can think of on an Industrial type job site.
I remember getting on the SxS one time & pushed the gas petal all the way to the floor & SxS had very little power.
So anyway ,when the job finished up back mid July this year (7/2024) , I asked the contractor what they was going to do with it. I was told to take it. Otherwise it would go to the contractors yard (storage yard) & most likely rust away.
Took it home washed it , it had a heavy coat of dust on it & in it dust was every where. My helper & I had to push it on the trailer to get it home.  After washing it throughly I let it sit & dry out for a good day and half, maybe 2 days. Before trying to start it. NO START. Will turn over & try to start but thats it.
So here's what I've purchased & installed. New Air Filter, new spark plug, new air idle control valve (AICV), new throttle position sensor, new throttle body, new oxygen sensor, new digital dash speedometer/fuel gauge/clock.
Also drained the old oil & gas & replaced with new oil & 93oct. gas. I should probably mention that I've changed the AICV twice. The 1st time I changed the AICV I was able to get the SxS started & let idle for at least 10-15min. Drove out of the garage, with very little power,  turned it around & barely got it back in the garage. That was the one & only time I've been able to start the SxS. I've also cleaned the Throttle Body and & intake with TB cleaner.  So after that the AICV was  making weird noise so I pulled it out & tried cleaning it, pretty sure I messed it up. So I purchased a Throttle Body that came with new AICV & TPS. Still NO START.  I've checked the fuel pump & the fuel injector.  I took the injector off still hooked up to wiring & turned the key over, the injector sprayed a lot of gas out kinda the size of a volleyball. I've also checked the clearance gap on the intake & exhaust valve. But today 11/2/2024 I'm going recheck spark plug gap & the valve gaps. And alot of other checking. Would the driver side seat belt have anything to do with it not starting?? I know the driver side seat belt has to be in gauged for full throttle "going fast". Thing is the drv. side seat belt will latch but feels like might be messed up inside of it. Tired opening it up but to no avail.  I've never had a S×S or 4wheeler so I was really excited when I got the S×S,not so much anymore.  I work on & fix my own vehicles usually no problems.  But this SxS is kicking my ass.
So if possible & someone could help me with some ideas or tell me what Im doing wrong or did wrong, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you for reading thus far.

      2015 Hisun 700 Utv
the break pedal seems to not fully throw therefore it won’t engage the switch in order to start.
it throws enough to stop the UTV but not enough to engage the switch.
I used it this morning, started fine, did some work then shut it off to talk to a neighbour and it wouldn’t start after. I can hear the injectors working but the break pedal doesn’t seem to go all the way down.
