about to pull the trigger on a CF Moto  ATV.. everyone seems to like theirs, good reviews .. anyone want to warn me of issues with them ?   I like  my Hondas but the prices have gone nuts and availability is a joke.. This seems like a good deal

I had only had Hondas all my life and still an a diehard fan. They are the best made and still have a 95 fourtrax 300 that runs like the day we bought it. That being said after my pioneer,  I bought a cfmoto and have had zero issues. It's fast, fun and reliable. For the price and everything that comes on it, it's hard to beat. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

Well, I did it.. I bought the CF MOTO  600  CForce .. I tell you the damn thing is nice.. Power steering /Auto Trans .. runs and drives unbelievable quiet and lots of power.. So far I m giving it a big thumbs up . Time will tell if its durable but for now its impressive

Weii I can say it's a pretty good machine so far..I like the Power Steering  auto trans.  Lots of power but it does seem to run higher rpmsthan my others and definitely burns more fuel so far. May improve after break in.  I AM NOT USED TO THE EBS.  (Engine braking system).nice for wife and grandkids tho.

got over 100 miles on it.. runs better every time .. Thing has big balls .. I ride with several friends. One has an Arctic Cat 650 V-twin.. ... He smokes my SXS   every trip, but I got the last laugh when we matched up with my CForce 600.. on flat ground .. This thing is very fast out of the hole with the CVT transmission. .. It does burn more fuel than my others.. maybe 15 mpg..

  • Alex changed the title to CF Moto ATV any good?

I have  a bulldog i bought from home depot in 2013.  In the last season it started refusing to shift from neutral to either forward or reverse.  I changed the trans axle fluid and made sure the cables were lubricated and free.  With a lot of coaxing, I can sometimes get it to shift.  once I start driving it, things improve until I let it set awhile.   Any suggestion on where to go from here?

I want to ditch my Kubota RTV-XG850 and its moronic twitchy throttle design flaw, get rid of the problematic engine and the 40 mph purposely throttled speed.
So far, I'm looking at the Honda Pioneer 1000 and the Polaris Ranger 1000, both of which have 1000-1500 lb payload bed capacity.
What other makes and models should I be looking at?

      Thanks for the help!

hello, my BMS Stallion 600 is having accleration issues. the manual fails to show final gear oil diagrams very well... I have the owners manual and suspect issue is associated to transmission , I want to check the level of the gearoil. I located a drain plug (but not the fill plug nor dipstick). It will run - but wont exceede 2mph. Troubleshooting suggestions or comprehensive manual suggestions? Thanks

We see a lot of the UT400 with shift problems, not going into gear, popping out of gear, grinding etc. There  is a bulletin Im sure everyone has saw about adjusting shift cable.  That dont always fix it.  I went round n round with coleman  on couple units. We are a Coleman warranty repair center"AFS Small Engine Repair "   I told them shift lever does not have enough travel .  No amount of cable adjustment  will increase travel . I  extended lever with piece on flat  iron by 3/4 of inch .  This gave shifter enough travel to properly engage into gear completely .  Last couple units to come in for this Coleman sent me a modified shift lever, with longer travel . Problem solved! Also , heads up if you get any new unit ,,,go over and check it out,  grease  all zerks, check air filter for being in backwards, check wiring harnesses for rubbing on rotating parts,  brake hose  routing , make sure not touching exhaust .  These are just  few of the more common failures I see .
