Was wondering which one is better bang for the buck. Just going to use it on my property. Yard clean up’s , snow plowing firewood, back and forth to the lake. Probably 600/550 models. Is there enough power to plow a foot of snow. All info is greatly appreciated. Thanks you

Someone who has experience with both can better answer your question as to which is better.

Both likely have more QC issues than the major brands, and worse dealer support.

A foot of wet snow will likely mean a short life for the wet clutch/belt on any belt driven machine.  If you plan on using a UTV for plowing I would recommend doing multiple runs during the storm if you're expecting a lot.

As far as Hisun I haven't had any major issues yet, parts seem to be widely available, service manuals are available, and for the most part they're pretty simple to work on. If you get the cable, and HudECU hacker software (free) it can make troubleshooting sensor issues much easier.

I have a 2020 HiSun Sector 750 with a 6' KFI plow. Have gone through 2 winters with no issues clearing snow on a 300'+ driveway plus trails behind the house (1/2 mi. +). Plenty of power to move 12" of snow. Not familiar with Cfmoto.

I've had both. A 2013 CFMoto Uforce 600 and currently a HiSun Axis 500.

Bought the cfmoto used. After I got the thing reliable it was a decent machine. But the belt had a catastrophic failure and locked up the sheaves while wife and I were on the road. The wife didn't/wouldn't ride any longer. So we got the axis. After repairing the cfmoto, we sold it.

The parts for the cfmoto were a little harder to source. But I think that was because of the year. There seem to be a lot of cfmoto dealers/shops in this area. But that could be this area.

As stated belt machines are a little different. They don't like being bogged down.  The belt or clutch slipping is not good. It doesn't take a lot of trying to pull or push something. With the wheels not spinning. To wear out the belt or clutch.

Also remember there is a break in period. That the machines should not be ran above 50% throttle, throttle position should vary and other things.

For the snow you plan on pushing, I'd go with as big of machine you could afford/find.

I  wished the wife wasn't afraid of the cfmoto. I personally think it was the better machine of the two. But the axis is a nice machine as well. Both are loud. Both have air intake in center console. Both have heat issues in the cab during the summer. Running some pipe and moving the air intake so sound deadening material can be added to the center console would help but may void the warranty on either machine. The axis had turn signals. Axis hasn't laid us over on our side (yet). Both have seat belts. But I bought 5-point harnesses for both passenger and driver and added the the axis. (Only installed 4-points) Left the original seat belt in. Only modification I made.

Hope above info helps.

I have a 2018 cub cadet challenger 750 I bought brand new almost 2 years ago the first month I had it the exhaust broke and burnt the spark plug wire in two that was a recall so the dealership installed the new one it had a different design and it bolted up to the bottom two plugs below the spark plug the dealership said they had to Adjust the exhaust valves I get the machine back thanking everything is good now wrong not even a week after I get it back the timing chain tensioner comes apart inside the motor I take it back to the dealership They put one on I get the machine back thanking everything is good but then just like before not even a week goes by when I was riding the Machine automatically quits going come to find out the wet clutch was burned up the primary clutch head stripped off of the splines I get that fixed and then  it overheats I take it back they bleed the air out of the coolant they bring it back to me the same day that I get it back it overheats again I take it back they temporarily fix it again just enough to let the warranty run out and now the machine has been to multiple different mechanics I have had them try to bleed the air out they have stood it up on its end I have had the water pump changed I have had the fan hooked to a switch so I could leave it on all the time but still almost 2 years later not even 200 hours on the machine and I cannot ride it The dealership will not take it back as a lemon I have tried I am at my wits end I have no clue what to try next

      Hi
I have a 2022 hisun sector eps 550. 30amp fuse is blown for eps. Checked the motor and it’s fine. Opened up the controller and found a bad diode. Dealer wanted 500$ for the controller. Just posting this in case it helps someone. I couldn’t read numbers from the old one so just took a guess and replaced it with a 100v 3amp diode.

Quick question about replacing the plug.  One of the prongs pulled out, so I'm thinking it will be an easy fix to connect the old cord with a new plug but I'm unsure about the specs.  15amp 125v?  Is it more complicated than that?  I do plan to buy a plug that's water tight.
      Thanks in advance!

Hello all. I purchased a brand new Massimo Buck 250 EFI in June for our farm and I've had the parking brake fail on me twice. I have approximately 250 miles on the vehicle. The first time was less than a month after receiving the UTV. We all of a sudden lost brake pressure and it would not start. I tracked the issue back to the parking brake. Upon removing the chain cover, I noticed the brake pad was missing and the caliper piston was touching the rotor. I found a set of brake pads online and replaced them myself. It's worked for several months and just happened again. Seems like a design flaw. I'm reaching out to see if there's an upgrade option available, or if I should replace the entire caliper with the brake pads? Thanks in advance for any advise.
I submitted a warranty claim, so I'll keep this updated with what Massimo replies.
When I replaced the brake pads the first time, back in July, my Son made a video on YouTube to show the unique caliper design. Here's a link if you wanted to check it out:
