We all know summer is hot inside the cabs of our SXS. So I've rigged up a couple of fans to help cool down the cab.

I didn't want to drill the fan's "support rails" into the ROPS (Roll Over Protection System), aka roll bars. So I used water clamps to hold them in place.

I just need to replace the wires I ran with bigger gauge. Then finish the wiring to switches, relays, and battery. But the hardest part. The actual mounting of the fans is complete. Also just in case anyone plans on doing this. I may have to only use 1 fan in the middle instead on 2. Due the the draw on the battery.

The fans are 12", 12V 80W. So I'm figured they were 6.7 amps apiece. Used the WAVe formula to get unknown values Watts=Amps*Volts then solve for unknown. I know the watts and volts from sticker on fan. So just used above formula to get amps. So a 7 amp fuse should be OK and a 10 amp fuse will be good.

So pulling 14 amps from the battery all day may be too much for the charging system to keep up with. And I haven't even installed the radio yet. So I will have to test and let you know.

See pics below.

Somebody ripped off my ideal about the fan mounted overhead.

The link for their product is in the video description and it $500. Mine might not be as pretty but it was less than $50. Looks like they used the same 12V 80 watt fans also. I knew I should have mass produced and patented the ideal.

My millions gone. Just like the hair on the top of my head. 😂

Well I installed this variable speed switch to control one fan.

It has a hard off position and variable stages of on. I don't think the Axis charge system can handle the power needs of 2 of the fans that I installed. Without some sort of upgrade to the charging system.

I tapped into the positive and negative wires that feed the 12v power port on the dash. That way I'd be sure not to accidentally leave the fan on when the machine is off . The switch is installed to the left of the steering wheel.

Think I'm going to modify the dual fan and just have one fan in the center OR upgrade the the charge system. But it's getting cooler now and "Winter is coming". So a cab enclosure/doors and the heater is next on the list. And finishing the fans will be a spring project.

Hi all, I own two Axis UTV's. Last year I purchased a 2022 Axis 500. I had a mechanical issue with the shifting forks after only 50 miles. I contacted Axis/Hisun warranty dept. That were very helpful and willing to send out a representative to see if it was a warranty issue that fell under coverage.  Since I live in an area that does not have authorized repair facility within 300 miles. A really nice guy drove all the way from West Virginia which was 4 hours away. He determined that the console would not stay seated in position and while driving it, the console would jump forward and knock it into the wrong gear causing the shift forks to become bent. It was then picked up a few weeks latter to be repaired in Richmond, Virginia. It should arrive home soon.
Now to my question. After the 2022 Axis 500 was taken for repairs, I bought the 2024 550 Axis. I bought the first one to take my son who is disabled from an extremely rare disorder that requires daily care to get out of the house. There are two things that give him joy, music and going for rides.  That is why I purchased the first one, However because it had bucket seats and the engine was between the two and was too loud even though I deaden the sound and put a quiet muffler on it.
I then decided to purchase the Axis 550 for the great updated features and the bench seat, I will be buying the complete enclosure ad on's offered by Hisun. Since it does not come with a heater (Axis 750 does) I was wondering if anyone knows what heater is part of the 750 edition. There was a photo that showed a Firestorm brand, however I can not find what variation it is. If anyone knows what a Inferno heater would be correct for the Axis 550. I would like to install it this Winter to take Justin riding on the farm. Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Brent

We have a 2018 Cub Cadet Challenger 400 and I found this Internally Threaded Bolt with a 10mm head size laying in the floor of the shop bay here on our ranch where we park the Cub Cadet.
Trying to figure out where it belongs...

My 2021 Odes Dominator 800 bogs down at 25mph and won’t go over that speed. I have changed the fuel pump and it still does the same, it runs and idles fine, it has great reverse speed, but it won’t accelerate past 25mph. Any Ideas?

I have a 2020 axis 500 and I have replaced the TPS twice and the whole throttle body assembly once and still have code 122. I can barely drive the thing. It bucks and surges like crazy
