I am having a hard time getting an issue diagnosed on my 2017 Mahindra 1000 Crew Diesel. Essentially what happens is you can drive it as normal for about 15 minutes at full speed. It will then slow down by itself to about 5 mph. Then all 4 wheels will lock up. It will intermittently still roll while in neutral but after a while the wheels will lock up again. If you let it sit for a while you can usually get it going again for about another 15 minutes. This happened two times in a row for us and then it wouldn't move at all. I took the CVT cover off (which was a complete PIA btw) and the belt was shredded. At this time I assumed that was the issue. I thought the first time it happened the belt may have just been slipping and then the second time it finally gave way completely. The belt was wrapped around the clutches pretty badly so I decided to take it to a local guy that fixes SxS. He replaced the belt and we assumed everything was ok. Picked it up and the exact same thing happened as before after a few minutes of driving it slowed down to about 5 mph and the wheels would intermittently lock in neutral while we tried to tow it back home. Got it back to the guy that replaced the belt and he admittedly told me he had never worked on this make. He thought it may be one of the clutches but they appear to be working. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be?

To add a little context I bought this used from an individual. He told me everything worked great and it did when I test drove it (obviously not long enough I think I only drove it for like 10 minutes then loaded it on a trailer). This happened the first time after driving it the first 15 minutes from getting it home.

I'm looking to purchase a 2015 Massimo 550 that might have an issue with it's throttle position sensor.
From the fella selling this UTV, he claims its to set the idle on fuel injection because the engine will not stay idle or when it starts sometimes it idles too high.
My Question if anyone had any issues with their Massimo 550 and if it was actually the TPS or something else that would allow the machine to idle correctly.
      Thanks!

Hi I'm about to order parts to do a bunch of work on my Massimo. Does anyone know if there's a difference in the top end kit {piston, Cylinder, Rings, Gaskets, Piston Pin} if it has a carb or EFI? I'm EFI and I think some came with a carb so I thought i'd ask before making a mistake...
      Thanks Jerr

Recently, my unit Axis 500 (2020) will only go into reverse and neutral. I am not able to get high or low. The engine itself sounds fine and I do not have other issues on this unit. I change the engine oil but have not yet changed the gear oil.
Before this happened I occasionally encountered issue where going from reverse to high gear, it would grind some and i had to reposition to shift into high gear. I also for last couple weeks heard a squeaking sound. I couldn't tell what it was. Was looking for a grease point I missed.
The unit has around 70 hours and is kept in the garage.
Anyone else encounter this type of scenario? Any suggestions on troubleshooting would be appreciated. Thanks.

My 2021 Odes Dominator 800 bogs down at 25mph and won’t go over that speed. I have changed the fuel pump and it still does the same, it runs and idles fine, it has great reverse speed, but it won’t accelerate past 25mph. Any Ideas?

As I tried to do a conversion with the Yamaha 660 motor, I realized the 660 was never fuel injected so it would not work for the fuel injected hisun motor swap. But the good thing is the hisun 750 motor is a clone of the 660 Yamaha but with the components for the fuel injection (cam/crank position sensor). So that left me with a new rebuilt Yamaha 660 and still a broke 750 hisun motor. I took apart 750 think the timing chain had broke from all that I've heard about these motors. The chain was not broke, but just off cam and crank gears! The chain tensioner was at fault!  I've ordered Yamaha 660 replacement parts, chain, two exhaust valves (which got bent when chain came off while motor was spinning) and seals. The piston has 2 little nicks where it had hit valves but no damage otherwise. The head is being redone at the machine shop and I'll be putting it back together in the next couple of weeks. Also I finally tracked down a Service Manual with all the info on the 550/750 Challenger.
