Hi all Im very new to this forum, I purchase my t2 today it had 40 miles on it when i got it. The dealer told me that the clutch needed to be adjusted. I took it off my trailer and It would not go in reverse. I had to litterally shut off the trooper put it in gear then start it.

When I did this you could tell the clutch was still grabbing as the trooper wanted to move as the starter turned over the engine.

So I noticed that the adjustment on the bottom of the slave cylinder was set at max. I was puzzled so upon further inspection I decided to take the lever off that connect to the splined shaft that goes into the bell housing. I moved it a couple cogs closer to the slave cylinder and backed off the adjustment on the end of the slave.

I was all proud of myself thinking problem solved, wrong still the same problem. So now I adjusted the slave all the way out again, still same problem

Now I can clearly see the slave cylinder is working fine and there is no play, there actually is no play in the setup and i would be paranoid that the clutch would run partially engauged with the clutch peddle not depressed.

The dealer did tell me the clutch needed adjustment and since my best friend owns a garage and is a very compitent mechanic I assumed I could do it.

Does anyone else ever have this problem.

Welcome to the forum sresener, what's the dealer going to do for you on this, should be warranted I would think. Please keep us all informed.

Also, can you fill out the profile so we can all get to know you a little better.

Welcome and Thanks,

Kinarfi

I called them and they told me to bring it in tomorrow. I just dont have any faith in there very young mechanics. After all they sent it out like this.

And the second problem is I have plans for my trooper this weekend, and I dont see it getting fixed that quick.

Are you sure it is travelling fully? Maybe try to bleed the slave cylinder, if it has air in it it could be not putting enugh pressure on the clutch.

just a thought

There is another adjustment at the peddles. You have to pull the peddles down and adjust the same type of rod to make sure you are getting full hydraulic movement from the master cylinder. The rod is probably screwed in so the master is producing only part of the force needed.

The adjustment on the clutch can be very touchy. I the slave is traveling too far it can actually re-engauge the clutch. The adj. rod at the master cylinder needs to have a little free play in it when not pushing on the clutch. maybe about 1/8 inch. Then the slave rod need to have a slight amount also. It can be very frustrating trying to get it right. I strongly suggest letting the dealer handle it in case there are other issues. A.

Thats exactly what it was. The clutch release bearing was pushing the fingers of the pressure plate into the disk, the dealer didnt even know that.

The joyner rep told me about that issue and after A combination of adjustments at the peddal and at the slave I have it working perfectly.

All I have to say is contacting joyner was a very good experience, they were patient and knew what they were talking about, and to top it off they authorized my friend "who is a qualified mechanic" the abiltiy to do any warranty work.

I just purchased a used 2023 Massimo warrior UTV SxS 1000mx with 600 miles on it. I didn't even get a full day of riding and the driver's side rear axle broke. I'm pretty sure it was already going bad because we would hear a noise once in a while. I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems with theirs. Also looking for places to buy accessories.

We have a 2018 Cub Cadet Challenger 400 and I found this Internally Threaded Bolt with a 10mm head size laying in the floor of the shop bay here on our ranch where we park the Cub Cadet.
Trying to figure out where it belongs...

Just received delivery of a 2024 AMP Pro.  Thought I'd start a thread with my impressions as I use it and learn more.  There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of real-world usage information out there on this model.  Hope this will help others as they research.
      Intended Use Cases
Fire mitigation / slash removal from a 5 acre forested and well-gamble-oaked property.  The previous owners thought as much about fire mitigation as I do about fashion: not much. Snow removal Stump pulling General hauling (rock, lumber, etc.) Weimaraner energy depletion.  Wasn't an original use case, but a nice added bonus.  Experiences So Far
Wasn't impressed that two of the bumpers on the underside of the bed where it sits upon the frame were missing.  The metal on metal contact has damaged the powder coating and the frame.  I expect a little better QC.
I've only put a few hours on it, so not a ton to report on usage.  It isn't quiet; it's silent.  I can't even detect an electric note from the motor. I removed (and subsequently replaced) the motor cover noticed that the motor is German and made by Schambuller.  The motor controller is Italian and made by Dana TM4.  Given the operating specs of both I found on the web, I suspect both are higher quality than the previous Navitas (which is supposed to be decent).  The motor is rated at 25 hp and 71.5 lb-ft of torque.  It feels very powerful.  All the torque is delivered instantly, if desired.
The bed is huge and has an electric dump as standard.  Great feature but would like it to go up a bit more.  Probably not feasible from an engineering perspective, but I want and I need ;).
Power steering is nice, but vague.  Probably common to many UTVs, but I am accustomed to more direct results from input.  Plan early and plan often.
In our first full day of usage, we hauled about 1/2 as much slash as the entire rest of the year when I was doing it by hand cart.  I may get fatter, but I'll also get more done.  After a few days of usage, the battery meter has gone down by 1/10th.
      Until next time...
