Does anyone know the complete specs for the front end alignment other than the 3 degrees camber and .98 inch toe in provided by the manual for a T-4 Trooper.

Although not a mechanic myself, I understand from a friend of mine, that more info is required to set up the front end correctly.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I don't agree with the setup you have posted. I do have quite a bit of knowledge around alignments/setup from doing it to my race cars.

What I would recommend as a starting point and adjust as needed:

+ 1 degree caster (note Positive caster)

- 1 degree camber (note Negative camber)

1/2 inch tow-IN

Reduce the caster to Zero if when you turn a corner it feels unstable.

Increase tow-in to 1 inch if steering feels twitchy/wonders when driven in a straight line.

Keep in mind this is not a car and will not drive like one. When driven in the dirt the setup is not as important and is very forgiving. The problem/most noticeable is when driven on hardtop/street.

When I return home, I will try to throw some gauges on my trooper to see where it is at from factory. There should not be any difference between a T2 & a T4.

Rocmoc:

Thanks. Although I haven't noticed any steering problems (always driven in desert), the front end just doesn't look quite right and we though we would check it, if we could get the right info. Iam going back to Arizona this week and we'll check it against the info provided by you.

I have the factory service manual available for the Buck 400. Just send me a message with your email and I'll get it to you. Although there is no charge for this, it would be great if  you would visit my website where you could donate any amount to help do things like this with others who need it. Again, there is no charge for this manual, and no obligation to donate. But if you did, I would thank you for sure. Have fun on the trails. www.warriorsoffroad.com

      Hi All
Just installed a predator 670 on my Landmaster. My question is can I remove the low oil pressure wire fitting and plumb my mechanical gauge into that access point?
Thanks in advance for your advice !!

      Got a 2021 Axis 500.
I'm needing the head bolt torque specs.
      Manual states 38nm.
But saw a video Hisun put out on YT for a 550 stating 50nm + 45° turn of wrench. Didn't think they would be that much difference on a 500 and a 550.
Seen another YT video on a 2013 500. He did 38nm.
Really only want to do this job once and done. And done correct.
      Anybody got the answer?
Going to start this rebuild in a few once this weather brakes. Flooding and then snow and cold here now. But spring is around the corner and the wife has to have this fixed or a Honda pioneer may be parked in driveway soon. She has to be able to ride.

I'm working on a 2005 Cub Cadet side by side and I'm trying to remove the front two axles.  I have a slide hammer puller on the inner joint and with all my strength they will not budge.   Anyone have the same issues and is there something I'm missing or a trick of some sort to pull these out?   Any suggestions please and thank you.
