Have any info on the fuel filter? went to purchase new one and went to three auto stores and none had a replacement with the large outlet side as the original has.

Thanks

When I replace mine I will go with a filter that has the same size as the small side on both sides and rig up a reducer/stepup for the large side. I have no idea why they would have such a large inlet with a smaller outlet. The outlet size will control the flow for the inlet as well.

On mine the larger side is the outlet,it goes to the pump.I thought of the same as you but would have to go back up to the large hose to fit on the pump wouldnt I?

Thanks,

Yup you are correct, just went out and looked. THEN I would get std. fuel filter, replace the hose to the pump and step-up at the pump. Hopefully if the pump has to be replace the replacement would have a more std. size inlet. Have to remember my tank is the the front, not under the seat. My filter is under the center console towards the front. I have to upgrade the filler tube on mine so I have been thinking of replacing with a fuel cell. Then I would run hose all the way to the pump and places the filter just in front of the pump for easier access. Just another someday project!

I didn't like the idea that the fuel pump could and does add particulates to the fuel flow from the brushes in the motor which is cooled by the flow of fuel past the inside of the motor, so I moved the fuel filter to after the pump and use the big line for pulling fuel from my surge tank. I can put any filter I want on it that has the 1/4 or 5/16 out let and inlet.

The easy way to fix the problem is to put the fuel filter where the pump is and the pump next to the gas tank. Using brass fitting neck down the fuel inlet to the gas tank and then use 5/16 hose to a new carquest fuel filter # 86023 which has 5/16 at both ends. Maybe 30 min work

2010 Hisun 500 - Carbed'.  She sat for about 3 weeks since last use.  Couldn't get it started.... has spark but plug was not wet.  Bought new plug, cleaned the carb, confirmed fuel pump (pulse type) is working.  Still nothing.  Put gas in the plug hole.... started right up and idled as normal and drove perfect.  Used it for the rest of the day without issue.  Tried to start again next morning.... same problem.  Poured gas in plug hole again.... started up and best kind again.
Anyone have any insight to what's going on?

hi everyone i have this 2021 Hisun forge 250 that won't start. no spark no fuel.   when i turn the key on i dont hear the relays click or fuel pump come on. it does have power but the relay doesnt ground the pump or the ignition coil. dont know if there are any safety switches on this model or not.  it does crank and all the accessories work. i  hot wired the pump and it does work.  i found a wiring diagram but it's very hard to figure out and was hoping someone has seen this before. all fuses are good. thanks in advance.

Hello, I have a 2013 500 utv hisun. Was running ok and cut out while parked. Bike will not start now. It turns over, but won't fire. I have no spark and no fuel. I replaced fuel pump, ignition coil, spark plug, cdi, voltage rectifier and all the fuses and relays. Could bad stater cause no fuel because I can't hear the fuel pump priming. Any info on where to start looking for problem.

I have a Joyner Trooper 1100 4 place that has been sitting for a number of years. I have everything taken care of but i can't get the fuel through the injectors. Fuel pump puts full pressure on them but they don't turn on or spray fuel. Any ideas?
