Where we are going is Kino Bay, Sonora, Mexico. Across the bay is an area we tried to get to last time when we were there with the Trooper. We came to a dead end and didn't make it. But the Sand was some of the lightest / softest I had ever been in. True blow sand, the Trooper sank with the stock tires sank like a rock. This time we have the big tires. WELL, I went on Google Earth and found the route. At the site where we want to go are numerous pics posted by people. Browsing thu the pics I found that the location has a Dune Field and they look like GREAT! The Google Earth coordinates are 28* 43' 38.25"N , 111* 55' 22.20"W . Take a look at the Pics. Kino Bay is just to the North of that location. We will be at the North end of the Beach in one of the two RV Parks down there. Loading the Trooper today and leaving in the morning. It is a 7 hour trip from the house but once you are in Mexico the speed limit most of the time is around 40-45mph. Will take pics, we got one of the light slim line cameras so it will be easier. We will have the laptop & wifi.

Will give more of an updated as time goes but the bottom line is 4 out of 6 of our group came down with Montezuma's Revenge and have been down for days. I was the worst and finally had to go to the clinic for two IVs & meds. Better 3/4s just had to take meds. The Health-care in Mexico is much better than most people in the States know. It is available to everyone at very, very low cost or no cost at all if you can't pay. This includes Tourist. Luckily we all ready knew this and headed over there when I started to lose the battle completely. Our total bill for 2 IVs, 2 shots, 6 meds and doctor visit was 190 pesos, about $15. They will not take more for their service so if you can afford it as a Tourist , you make a donation. We payed 300 Pesos total, less than $24. The Doctor, a young talented lady, was trained in Guadalajara at the school our next door neighbor's son was trained. And He is in charge of Urgent Care at one of the larger hospitals in Tucson. We don't always get the straight facts from our New sources or Government as everyone has an agenda. Enough said, we are healing here and have had very little riding. Headed home early Monday. Only second time being sick in 15 years of traveling in Mexico. "Not Jazzed Anymore!"

Thanks Rick. If we did not have a wedding locally Sunday, we would already be headed home. Had Breakfast this morning for the first time in days with no side effects, a GREAT sign! LOL!

GEE, Sorry to hear that you didn't get to play. I didn't know Montezuma's Revenge was bad enough to need that much care, I thought it was just the "runs" . Must be a nastier bug than I thought it was.

Glad you're getting better.

Kinarfi

OOH, ick, just googled Montezuma's Revenge, oooh ick.

Sorry you had a rough time of it. At least it sounds like you pretty well have it behind you. Take your time going home and relax a bit. I was going to say, "have a beer on me" but that probably doesn't sound so good just yet.

Thanks everyone. We put the Trooper in the Toyhauler today to protect it from the sun as our friends we were to ride with are still sick (didn't go to the clinic). We won't go out here without the buddy system as it is too risky so the Trooper was just setting in the sun. If something happens it could be weeks before someone found you. We have a wedding to go to tomorrow, Sunday and will return home early Monday. The riding was a bust for this trip but at least WE are feeling great again. Had a great dinner of Tortilla Soup, Grilled Bacon wrapped Cheese stuffed Shrimp & a pitch of Margarita tonight. Finally what we come down here for. GREAT people took care of us so there was a silver lining. Again thanks for thinking of us.

I would really like to know what you guys think about this. I'll try not to ramble and make it as clear as I can.

I took this new job with companyX as a fiber splicer a year ago. I have a 45' bucket truck and 10or12 x 8 ft enclosed splice trailer I have to take home. Within the last 6 months all the management in the splice dept left. Now the power/construction management and higher ups are filling in. Just recently we were told travel to our 1st job is not payable even though we are in a company vehicle.
We are union so I asked the union business manager about this. His reply was be grateful you were paid travel as long as you were and that you don't have to drive your POV to the job.

Last week I had 50hr total. The job area is 4-4.5 hrs away. My time was reduced to 44.5 hrs since we were told this travel thing on Tuesday of that week. I wasn't hired for this area. I was hired for area a lot closer to home.

Pay is good. Work is not hard. Insurance is through the union and so far pretty good.
But I hate the thought of having to work extra just to make a 40hr paycheck. Anyone who has to drive as part of their job knows windshield time is not easy.

Anyway what do you guys think. Should I look for a different job or just suck it up because of the decent pay and health insurance.

Hi I'm about to order parts to do a bunch of work on my Massimo. Does anyone know if there's a difference in the top end kit {piston, Cylinder, Rings, Gaskets, Piston Pin} if it has a carb or EFI? I'm EFI and I think some came with a carb so I thought i'd ask before making a mistake...
      Thanks Jerr

I have a Joyner Trooper 1100 4 place that has been sitting for a number of years. I have everything taken care of but i can't get the fuel through the injectors. Fuel pump puts full pressure on them but they don't turn on or spray fuel. Any ideas?

Top speed is 30mph on flat grass ground.  but it will not go up minor hills forward or reverse without a runing start.  If you start at the bottom of the hill machine will stop about 1/2 way up.  I have the engine cover off and you can see the outside of the drive clutch will stop spining., and the engine does bogg down some.  Dosent matter if engine is cold or warmed up.  Seat belts are connected.  Fuel is clean
I am the 5th shop to look at it and different shops have replaced the fuel pump, injector, ign coil, wet clutch,
I am not sure how to check for codes with this machine,  can anyone teall me how to do it?

Compression with hot eng is 145,  valves adjusted to .005 with a cold engine.  Dash shows 426 hours
I am not convinced it's an engine problem

Recently I had an overheating issue on my 2022 Coleman Outfitter 550 (Hisun UT550) and to check to make sure it was fixed I took it out for a ride around the block. After a couple cycles on the LED coolant meter, I took it for a couple mile ride and on my way back I heard a loud metallic snap then a grinding noise. It was still able to move under its own power but very slowly. I was about 2 blocks from the truck so 'I limped it home and up onto the trailer. I know I need to tear it apart and look for what broke, but anyone have a guess as to where to start? I'm seriously getting tired of this damn machine! 750 miles on it and already replaced the belt, wet clutch, primary clutch, clutch roller weights among a few other things. Seriously, this friggin machine has spent more time on the lift than on the road. I thought I bought this new because it was from the owner of a tractor supply, but he registered it under the stores name making me the 2nd owner voiding any and all warranties.
Any Ideas what to look for would be appreciated.
      Thanks
