So far the failed rear wheel bearing (and limping home with a wobble) has cost me a rear bearing, hub, axle and now the last thing I found (I hope!) a rim. I went to put the wheel back on after I thought I was finished with the repair and the stud holes are veeerryyy egg shaped!!

Anyone have an original equipment rear (14x8) rim to sell? I would also trade for a pair of almost new Dunestar paddles, 26-10-12 (tires only).

Randy were did you get your rear bearing and hub at

I got the Hub from Buggy World in Santee, CA (Alyssha at parts - she was terrific). The Axle was from No Limits in Texas (Justin. They were very good, also). The bearing was from Silverbullet in Yuma - (Rich was a life saver!)

In backward analysis - I believe that the whole issue spiraled out from using the 'Tuner' lug nuts from my sand wheels instead of the beefier lugnuts made for that wheel, they loosened up on very demanding terrain and took out the other parts. Oh well, live and learn.

I have a complete set of stock rims, but I am not sure if I want to split them up. I think I have another rear rim that is not stock will have to check when I get home.

Belt started slipping when I used it in high gear. It works okay in low unless I'm trying to power it up a hill and then it slips.., Ordered a new belt and went to change it and found a good bit of oil in the belt housing. Has anyone experienced this? Belt looks fine. Only have 300 miles on this thing..

2002 ranger 500 4x4 stopped running and wouldn't restart. Service manual wiring diagram helped identify the hub safety switch as the culprit. Using jumper wires to bypass  switch allowed the engine to start and run normally. Inspection of switch showed melted epoxy and a strong smell of burnt electrical. Unable to find replacement part either used or new. Is there a work around other than jumper wiring?

the regen braking on my e1 has stopped working unless (for eg) I am going down a hill in low and it's slowing things down to stick to the 10kph limit. when I drive and take my foot off the accelerator it's not initiating the regen to slow things down and instead just coasts at whatever speed it is at, or speeds up as the regen is not limiting it. the brake lights work, so it's probably not a fault with the sensor on the brake pedal

hoping someone else might be able to provide some suggestions on things to check, as the mob that I bought it off seem to have gone silent on me
