Hi all! I am a new member here and have really enjoyed and learned a lot from reading all of your posts. One thing that I have not really been able to figure out, however, is what type of spare wheel setup I should get? I have a Renegade R4 with the stock wheels/tires (27x8-12). I usually ride solo (new rider, not many "friends" in the area) and am concerned with getting stuck somewhere with a blown tire or something. I'd like to keep one spare wheel/tire setup on-board (mounted to the roof rack) in case I need it. Does anyone have a suggestion as to the brand, size, etc of the rim and the tire? I'm not looking to replace my entire setup, just need a spare! Thanks!

Oh, and while we're at it, does anyone have any opinions on the "Tractor Tunes" radio set up? I am interested in it as it seems fairly easy to install (being all one piece and everything), but $400 is a lot to spend on something without knowing much about it.

Hi Andrew and welcome. You should be able to buy a stock spare wheel off any Joyner Dealer or ITP is a good aftermarket choice. You will need to get a 27-8-12 front wheel spare because it will fit front and rear. A rear wont fit on the front. I would keep a spare as low down as possible to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible or get some wheel spacers as shown in the 2nd link.

Here are some links:

Fix-A-Flat - Car Care Products- A easy way to fix a flat tire Not sure if this works but sound good.

I can't help with the radio.

Cheers Mike.

Andrew

I have sold quite a few tractor tunes setups to customers.. everyone has installed it and not had anyproblems except for one.. and he had a bad radio from the box that they promptly replaced for him.. All in all I call it a good setup and have used it before myself.. no special skills needed to install

I just purchased a used 2023 Massimo warrior UTV SxS 1000mx with 600 miles on it. I didn't even get a full day of riding and the driver's side rear axle broke. I'm pretty sure it was already going bad because we would hear a noise once in a while. I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems with theirs. Also looking for places to buy accessories.

I have a 2018 cub cadet challenger 750 I bought brand new almost 2 years ago the first month I had it the exhaust broke and burnt the spark plug wire in two that was a recall so the dealership installed the new one it had a different design and it bolted up to the bottom two plugs below the spark plug the dealership said they had to Adjust the exhaust valves I get the machine back thanking everything is good now wrong not even a week after I get it back the timing chain tensioner comes apart inside the motor I take it back to the dealership They put one on I get the machine back thanking everything is good but then just like before not even a week goes by when I was riding the Machine automatically quits going come to find out the wet clutch was burned up the primary clutch head stripped off of the splines I get that fixed and then  it overheats I take it back they bleed the air out of the coolant they bring it back to me the same day that I get it back it overheats again I take it back they temporarily fix it again just enough to let the warranty run out and now the machine has been to multiple different mechanics I have had them try to bleed the air out they have stood it up on its end I have had the water pump changed I have had the fan hooked to a switch so I could leave it on all the time but still almost 2 years later not even 200 hours on the machine and I cannot ride it The dealership will not take it back as a lemon I have tried I am at my wits end I have no clue what to try next

Just received delivery of a 2024 AMP Pro.  Thought I'd start a thread with my impressions as I use it and learn more.  There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of real-world usage information out there on this model.  Hope this will help others as they research.
      Intended Use Cases
Fire mitigation / slash removal from a 5 acre forested and well-gamble-oaked property.  The previous owners thought as much about fire mitigation as I do about fashion: not much. Snow removal Stump pulling General hauling (rock, lumber, etc.) Weimaraner energy depletion.  Wasn't an original use case, but a nice added bonus.  Experiences So Far
Wasn't impressed that two of the bumpers on the underside of the bed where it sits upon the frame were missing.  The metal on metal contact has damaged the powder coating and the frame.  I expect a little better QC.
I've only put a few hours on it, so not a ton to report on usage.  It isn't quiet; it's silent.  I can't even detect an electric note from the motor. I removed (and subsequently replaced) the motor cover noticed that the motor is German and made by Schambuller.  The motor controller is Italian and made by Dana TM4.  Given the operating specs of both I found on the web, I suspect both are higher quality than the previous Navitas (which is supposed to be decent).  The motor is rated at 25 hp and 71.5 lb-ft of torque.  It feels very powerful.  All the torque is delivered instantly, if desired.
The bed is huge and has an electric dump as standard.  Great feature but would like it to go up a bit more.  Probably not feasible from an engineering perspective, but I want and I need ;).
Power steering is nice, but vague.  Probably common to many UTVs, but I am accustomed to more direct results from input.  Plan early and plan often.
In our first full day of usage, we hauled about 1/2 as much slash as the entire rest of the year when I was doing it by hand cart.  I may get fatter, but I'll also get more done.  After a few days of usage, the battery meter has gone down by 1/10th.
      Until next time...
