Lower Gear Set / Gear Reduction?

Len, did you end up with any of the diffs from the auction? Thinking the lower gear sets? Also VW used a gear reduction unit on the Bus transaxle, Maybe?

Side note: Will weld the new diff braces tomorrow. All cut and made but too sore from working on the house! Getting ready for the monsoons is more important!

No I didn't. Stopped at $400. They sold for $700-$800 if I remember correctly. Figured I could buy the lower gears for less.
