Less than 70 miles on this 09. This has NNNNOOOO low end power, absolutly nnnnoooo throttle responce.

Starts fine, runs fair if your 90 years old. Just no tjrottle responce, get the hint.

I found the Vap canister upside down next to fuel tank, didn"t seem like there was any fuel in the lines, so i ran it 25 or 30 miles hopeing problem would just go away. No such luck.

I checked fuel pressure,60, yes 60psi. Icut it back to 30 and now it seems like I can here it laboring. I also played with the TPS. no help. By the way, when i cut the fuel pressure down, it now hesitates and misses when you get right on the pedal.

I have to go now. If anyone has seen this and can help,THANK YOU for your reply in advance.I have driven a couple Renegades before which really impressed me( could use a granny gear however).

Thanks again, I would love to ride tis holiday weekend.

Hi josephb,

Not sure about the problem, but I think the fuel pressure should be higher.

Also you ought to fill out your profile so we can all get to know you better, Who knows, you may live around the block from someone who can help.

Try disconnecting the main power from the battery. It's possible that the computer for some reason went into limp home mode. It will run this way but way underpowered. It's just to get you home if the computer sees something wrong. By cutting all power to the computer and letting it set for a few minutes, the computer will reset itself back to normal settings. If that doesn't work, I would start checking the sensors one at a time. The manual shows how. Of coarse the obvious is to check if your getting a full flow of fuel to the injuctors. Also remove the fuel rail with the injectors and lay it across the engine so that you can see the injectors fire when you crank the engine. They should each produce a fine spray. Actually more of a foggy mist then a spray. If they don't, you may have plugged injectors. If your getting good fuel flow then the computer is shutting you down for some reason. If the engine is completely spent, then it won't run too good either.

I always thought the Renegade had a low range which would give you a granny gear.

Hey everyone – my name is Adam and I’m doing some market research to better understand the ATV / UTV community. I'm especially interested in hearing about:
What you use your vehicle for (work, play, etc.)
      What you love about it
      What frustrates you
What the overall experience of riding has been like
If you're open to hopping on a casual 30-minute Zoom or phone call sometime this week or next, I’ll send you a $100 gift card as a thank-you.
No sales, no pitches—just listening and learning. I'd also just ask that you send over a photo of you and your side-by-side in action (nothing formal—trail pics or selfies are totally fine!).
If you're down to chat, drop a comment or DM me and we’ll find a time that works. Would really appreciate the chance to learn from you 🙏
      Thanks!

I have a 2021 Massimo MXU 1000.  Last winter the front drive shaft sheared off inside the motor and it was cheaper to buy a new motor than to take it apart in order to remove the front drive shaft that was broken inside the case…
Now it is running rich, seems to maybe be geared too high, does not accelerate well once you hit about 28mph.  I’ve replaced the O2 sensor.  MAF is next (I accidentally ordered the wrong one, but when I removed the old one you can clearly smell fuel).
I’m not a motorhead but I can turn a wrench.  Any ideas how to get this motor optimized?  The motor has about 300 miles on it.  I broke it in as recommended in the manual.

Just picked up a Hisun 500 that had shift issues (corroded fan gear) which I fixed. It also didn't seem to be running smoothly then all of a sudden it got worse. It seems to miss on both idle and when pushing the gas pedal to the floor and doesn't seem to be running at full power. I've been working with a local person who is walking me through some steps, but I'd like some input from this group as well. What I've done:
      - drained the fuel tank and replaced it with 93 octane fuel and added heet to help with any water problems.
      - replaced the fuel injector.
      - disconnected the battery (several times) to allow the module to reset.
      - set the valve clearance, both intake and exhaust, within specs ... intake was tight but exhaust seemed fine.
      - replaced the battery.
      - replaced the O2 sensor.
Nothing has helped. Not sure what the next steps are, but would appreciate any expertise that can be offered here.

      Hi
I have a 2022 hisun sector eps 550. 30amp fuse is blown for eps. Checked the motor and it’s fine. Opened up the controller and found a bad diode. Dealer wanted 500$ for the controller. Just posting this in case it helps someone. I couldn’t read numbers from the old one so just took a guess and replaced it with a 100v 3amp diode.
