I’m looking for a quiet side by side for my wife and I. We will do some trail riding but nothing too extreme. We are more geared toward leisure riding since we are in our sixties. We go to Wyoming in the summer and have been looking at the Honda Pioneer 1000, can am defender.

I think the tracker 800sx is the quietest on the market. We had one for about 3 years and loved it. Plenty of power and super quiet. Textron who makes it, makes many military vehicles and helicopters. They had roush of jack roush racing make all their engine and transmission mounts and exhaust and it is very wel done. We had a 6 seater and as our kids got older and started riding thier own sxs we went to a 4 seater honda talon. We love it but it is very loud compared to our tracker. We miss how quiet and smooth it was.

My neighbor has a Tracker from bass pro shops. It is the quietest I’ve heard. You cannot hear them coming down the road. Riding in it it’s really quiet compared to my Tractor Supply Big Horn. My neighbor hood has mules, Lowe’s version, and big horns. The tracker is the quieter

The conversion took about 350lbs. off the vehicle.  It never rode great, but now I feel every  crack in the road.  I have backed off spring compression nut to the point just under where they would move around if suspension was at full extension, but it is still very stiff.  I would like to put some softer coilover springs on it, but I have no idea what the spring rate is with the original springs so I would just be guessing on what to order.  Does anyone have the data for the original spring compression rate?  I am willing to give up a little ground clearance for a softer ride. Right now when sitting still the rear suspension is at or near full extension and the rear tires have several degrees of camber which will cause uneven wear if allowed to continue in this state.
