Silver Bullet or Other Aftermarket Vendors?

Hay Silver Bullet & Others. How about some performance items for people who do not want to go turbo? These engines are so de-tuned there should be a lot of other performance opportunities. OR just a flat out stronger engine like a Subaru or Toyota! Putting money into this engine is like building a flat head V8 when you could be running a stock Chevy 327 that would still have more performance even after you have spent a ton of money!

Torquer cam. I may go this route even before the engine needs any work. As Lenny has said the port matches are horrible!

A torquer cam would be nice. I wouldn't do it unless you do the port matching. After all, the cam helps it breath better but doesn't do much when you have a hornets nest in the ports. You will have the heads all but off to put a cam in it, might as well pull it and do the ports. For those that don't know to do it, make a gasket to fit the largest port side then lay it reversed on the mating part and match the part to the gasket. Some places you may have to do this back and forth between sides to get it all matched. This is sort of the basis of it then you can open up the ports a bit if you choose.

I swapped out the Subaru motor for a Predator 670cc. If I remove the heat shield around the muffler, The stock muffler sits in there just fine with 1" to spare.
Only problem is the exhaust exit is toward the back seat instead of out the back.
Do you all think that the stock exhaust would be okay (just as effective) if cut a hole and welded a pipe on the reversed (opposite) end? Of course, plug the old exit end. Other option I thought of was to roll a tube 180° with a 7" center line radius and finish extention of 12" or so.
      Any thoughts?

I got an old 2003 Arctic Cat 375 Auto, and just bought a 2008 AC 650 side by side. Got a new starter, solenoid, and battery for the 650. Gonna change the crankcase oil and filter while I'm at it.
Anything I oughta watch out for from them that's done the starter/solenoid on this model?
Don't have a manual yet for the 650. Any recommendations for oil weight/grade?
      Thanks.

Check engine light comes on after engine runs continuously for 5 minutes or so.  I can shut down the engine and restart and check engine light goes out, then comes back on after running 5 minutes or so?  What ya think?

I could really use some help identifying some disconnected components on a Yard Sport YS400. The first part is this pipe, which comes out of the exhaust port area or the cylinder. It looks like it had a piece of rubber hose on it, but the hose is gone, and I have no idea what it was previously connected to.

The second item is this vacuum valve looking thing.  Again only one line is still attached.  What is it's function and what other lines should be connected to it?

The last thing is this hose, which exits the side top of the fuel tank (not the fuel line hose) but is not connected to anything

Any help the community could provide would be greatly appreciated.  This UTV belongs to a friend, and I am trying to help him get it running correctly for his kids.
