Is there anyone out there who owns a BMX UTV 500cc? CFMOTO is the motor in the UTV. I'm very seriously intrested in buying one. Any feedback, or any information on this brand?

the website I found it on is http://www.bestpriceatv.com

If you click on UTV on the left hand side, you'll see "UTV" and this is where I've been looking.

Thank you.

Dawn

Hi Dawn,

Did you buy one of those BMX SXS's? I think the distributor is in Dallas, Tx. I'm going to see if I can drop by and look @ them and will let you know what I see.

I think there is a pretty extensive discussion and report on "Mud bog" forums." Most seem to be pretty happy.

Bobby007s,

Yes, as matter in fact, I did purchas one just last Tuesday, (September 21st) I dont' have it yet, it is in order and should arrive this week. Yes, it is coming from 13401 Denton Dr. Dallas, TX. I got the 2-seater pink one. I was going to get the 4-seater, but decided on the 2 seater being in my state, they are trying out the Piolet program and testing the trails out here to see if the UTV's will be able to stay on the ATV trails. I wasn't sure in the long run (2 years) if the 4-seaters would still be a go. They are now, but not sure in 2 years. However.........there's a good chance the 4-seaters will still be good to go on the trails. I got the Pink 2 seater. Just like the 4-seater, but its a 2 seater. I'm excited! I'm hoping I made a good choice.

I look forward to your response. Thank you.

Is there a code reader available for the Coleman UTV 400?  I tried using the HUD ECU Hacker software and cables/adapters but no luck OBD to delphi 6 pin and KKL VAG as well as ELM327.  Will not connect.  I was able to get it to connect randomly a couple of times, but haven't been able to since.  I was able to clear and read the codes briefly.  I'm aware of the Tiny Scan 301 but it doesn't seem to be readily available.  There's a few out there but they are expensive.

I want to ditch my Kubota RTV-XG850 and its moronic twitchy throttle design flaw, get rid of the problematic engine and the 40 mph purposely throttled speed.
So far, I'm looking at the Honda Pioneer 1000 and the Polaris Ranger 1000, both of which have 1000-1500 lb payload bed capacity.
What other makes and models should I be looking at?

      Thanks for the help!

Hello, All!  I've decided to replace the traction batteries in my 2018 Sector E1 with a 48V Lithium set. They may be expensive, but I figure the Discovery Dry Cell are, too. I am not looking for the max driving range, as I have never received near the brochured range to begin with, but a good mix of charge/ get work done/ charge is what I am expecting.
I have settled on the 48V EAGL kit from bigbattery dot com. Each battery pack provides 30Ah. The kit ships with a charger, as well. The packs would be physically connected in parallel (using a busbar) to one another, maintaining the 48V voltage, but together would be able to provide the amp draw the buggy pulls when going up hill or towing a rake (rated 320 max continuous Amps). This is in comparison to the serial connection the eight 6V lead batteries. Each of the EAGL batteries looks to have its own BMS; am I correct in thinking I will have to use their included charger rather than (simply) changing the onboard charger to lithium mode? The chemistry of the pack is LiFe PO4, for what it's worth.  I haven't torn anything apart yet (to diagram), so  I am not sure how the dash will interpret the AMP draw, but the kit I am looking at includes a dash mounted charge indicator.
If anyone has completed a similar conversion, do you have any tips? Specifically, how did you remove the original batteries, and how did you secure the new ones? I am guessing that almost any change from the stock batteries would involve at least some modifications. Any tips would be appreciated, especially things I may have failed to consider. Thanks!
