That thing sure looks like it would go anywhere. Love the big tires. The door coverings is almost exactely what I am going to do except like you said they need to swing open. I figure I can make swing open doors that are just as strong as welded in. I also want mine to go all the way up to protect the shoulder and head from side intrusions. I'll even have expanded metal covering them. When I was mountain biking with a friend of mine, we were 8 miles in, he fell and landed on a stob. It penetrared his side just under his arm pit and punched through pushing his lung in and breaking off inside. I'm at a point in life where life couldn't get better and I don't want to ruin it because I'm assuming it won't happen to me. Only problem is that the more I protect myself the wilder I get so it probably isn't making me any safer.

Lenny, on my computer I can blow up the pics. In the second pic I can clearly see a hinge on the two rear tubes of the door with the latch near the firewall. They built them as suicide doors. The side & head protection is stationary.

I went back and looked. Yes, you can clearly see the hinges.

Enjoyed seeing it again. Evidently he didn't have a tubing bender when he did the upper rear roll cage but he still did a nice job, I like it.

Hi I'm about to order parts to do a bunch of work on my Massimo. Does anyone know if there's a difference in the top end kit {piston, Cylinder, Rings, Gaskets, Piston Pin} if it has a carb or EFI? I'm EFI and I think some came with a carb so I thought i'd ask before making a mistake...
      Thanks Jerr

just an update on my MSU 500 . For all the misery it caused me the first 2 yrs, and the combination of some quality YAMAHA parts, it has now become a reliable ,useful UTV without the constant fear of having to push or tow it back from trails. I have not had a single issue pop up in a very long time.. FINALLY!....and as a side note, I just bought  a C FORCE 600 ATV to replace an old and well used  Honda that finally after 18 yrs gave up a rod bearing.  So far the new one has really impressed me .. I like the new Power Steering and  this CVT Auto Trans is new to me on an ATV .. I m used to constant shifting on my Hondas .  It also has something I have never seen. Its EBS  engine brake system, as soon as you let go of throttle, it engine brakes you to a stop rather quickly.. its great idea for the grandkids safety . Takes a little getting used to tho.. All in all, I like it. We shall see how durable it is after break-in.. I do "RIDE" them! .....and they honor their warrenty! and the dealer is 15 minutes away..

I could really use some help identifying some disconnected components on a Yard Sport YS400. The first part is this pipe, which comes out of the exhaust port area or the cylinder. It looks like it had a piece of rubber hose on it, but the hose is gone, and I have no idea what it was previously connected to.

The second item is this vacuum valve looking thing.  Again only one line is still attached.  What is it's function and what other lines should be connected to it?

The last thing is this hose, which exits the side top of the fuel tank (not the fuel line hose) but is not connected to anything

Any help the community could provide would be greatly appreciated.  This UTV belongs to a friend, and I am trying to help him get it running correctly for his kids.
