Hey all,

I found your forum after googling UTV forum. My name is David Laugs and I am regional sales rep for Qlink Motors one of the distributors for the Hisun products. I know I probably gonna get a lot of slack here for even daring to post, but my purpose of being here and introducing myself is to help riders with any kind of questions they have.

In my 7 years in the powersports industry I realise that there is only one group of people that makes a company succesfull, and that is our consumers out there. Qlink has been around since 1988 and we have been distributing product here in the USA for 6 years. I dare to say that our company is different of that what you are used to and it follows the kymco model more so than other 'traditional' chinese distributors you may know. We are headquartered in Taiwan with our US office just outside Dallas TX.

I will post some news and specs about our 2011 Qlink FrontRunner series: the 500cc - 700cc - 700cc (4 passenger) and 800S

Feel free to hammer with any questions and I keep my answers spam free and professional. Fire away at me I'd say..

(curious to see the comments).

Welcome to UTVBOARD, glad to see that we have manufacturer participation. You are welcome to post as long as you continue to stay active and on top of those posts/threads. Helping and explaining is fine, and we would even go as far as setting up a dedicated forum for QLINK if there is interest from our members. Please be careful to separate posting and advertising. If your company is interested in advertising, please send me a PM.

Welcome aboard! :D

Hi David and welcome to UTV Boards. Your more than welcome here and doubt very much if you will get any slack at all, especially from the regular members.

I do have one question for you though, how do you work or fit in with JMC?

The Joyner thread on here started with just a few of us and grew to such a stage where we now dominate the posts, so I see no reason why Qlink cant have the same success if you help spread the word amongst your customers.

Im from a different country but the rest of the Joyner guys & girls get together from time to time for a get together and I know they would welcome you and future Qlink members with open arms.

Cheers Mike.

This is true, the Joyner owners have been making a solid home here... :D Great group of people, and we would definately invite any and all other UTV brand riders/owners to do the same. We'd love to make UTVBOARD into a go to destination for all other branded UTV discussions also. Like I mentioned above, if you would like us to create a QLINK forum and can get the word out to your customers, we will gladly open our doors and give them another home...

Thank you very much for your welcome. I will indeed keep the 'spam' low and will participate in any threads or questions I can find about Qlink. We did a ride day the other day with our units and got them wet and dirty! I'll post some pics here soon.

David looks like the new product is performing in true Qlink fashion. Were these the EFI products? Send more pics. I look forward to getting behind the wheel.

Hey Q LINK. Why are parts so hard to get for these UTV's? I have less than 230 miles on mine and a TPS went out causing the crankcase to fill with oil, run rough, etc. Took it to the certified shop and have now been waiting over two months for the part with no prospect on an arrival date. I have gotten several excuses why the part has not came, but bottom line is, I have a multi-thousand dollar boat anchor that I am still paying for due to lack of parts availability.

I just don't see why this is such a problem. Don't figure you can solve my issue, just posting here in order to warn others to stay away from them due to no service after the sale!

Just picked up a Hisun 500 that had shift issues (corroded fan gear) which I fixed. It also didn't seem to be running smoothly then all of a sudden it got worse. It seems to miss on both idle and when pushing the gas pedal to the floor and doesn't seem to be running at full power. I've been working with a local person who is walking me through some steps, but I'd like some input from this group as well. What I've done:
      - drained the fuel tank and replaced it with 93 octane fuel and added heet to help with any water problems.
      - replaced the fuel injector.
      - disconnected the battery (several times) to allow the module to reset.
      - set the valve clearance, both intake and exhaust, within specs ... intake was tight but exhaust seemed fine.
      - replaced the battery.
      - replaced the O2 sensor.
Nothing has helped. Not sure what the next steps are, but would appreciate any expertise that can be offered here.

Is there a code reader available for the Coleman UTV 400?  I tried using the HUD ECU Hacker software and cables/adapters but no luck OBD to delphi 6 pin and KKL VAG as well as ELM327.  Will not connect.  I was able to get it to connect randomly a couple of times, but haven't been able to since.  I was able to clear and read the codes briefly.  I'm aware of the Tiny Scan 301 but it doesn't seem to be readily available.  There's a few out there but they are expensive.

Hello, we recently got a 2013 Hisun 800 as a little project for my husband and I to work on. Turns out the guys before us loved the mud anyway. We have replaced the stator and now going to do the Rectifier but here is the hold up as seen in the picture. There are tons of wires going to the battery. I cant seem to find anything that shows what wires should, or shouldn't be attached to the battery or where these 2 plugs go. if someone would please take some pics or share knowledge to where they go I would appreciate it greatly.
