I have heard much mention of engine possibilities and auto trannys. What about a 2 speed transfer case? Do you think it would be possible? It would solve our low end torque issues. I haven't done any digging into the motor or trans. What have you guys seen? Out of the realm of possibility?

No room for a transfer case.

What we really need is some gear options for the trany. In one of my race cars that had the same configuration of engine & trans as the Trooper, I had the option of changing out the stock 5th gear with different ratio. We need a optional lower 1st gear. Just take someone casting a new gear, it isn't than difficult.

There was somebody out there 1-2 years ago making a higher 5th gear, not sure if it was No limits or maybe Silverbullet. We need maybe two more teeth in 5th and maybe 1 more in 1st.

I would like to do 55 at 4K rpm

As I tried to do a conversion with the Yamaha 660 motor, I realized the 660 was never fuel injected so it would not work for the fuel injected hisun motor swap. But the good thing is the hisun 750 motor is a clone of the 660 Yamaha but with the components for the fuel injection (cam/crank position sensor). So that left me with a new rebuilt Yamaha 660 and still a broke 750 hisun motor. I took apart 750 think the timing chain had broke from all that I've heard about these motors. The chain was not broke, but just off cam and crank gears! The chain tensioner was at fault!  I've ordered Yamaha 660 replacement parts, chain, two exhaust valves (which got bent when chain came off while motor was spinning) and seals. The piston has 2 little nicks where it had hit valves but no damage otherwise. The head is being redone at the machine shop and I'll be putting it back together in the next couple of weeks. Also I finally tracked down a Service Manual with all the info on the 550/750 Challenger.

I have a 2020 axis 500 and I have replaced the TPS twice and the whole throttle body assembly once and still have code 122. I can barely drive the thing. It bucks and surges like crazy

My buddy has a ut400 that the forward gear keeps popping out of gear. She only has like 400 miles on the odometer .the shift cable has been adjusted and the shift lever has been updated / modified. All other gears are good. Is there an internal detent cam or something that wears out or shift fork that can be replaced ? Or is there some other magic that I can perform ? Looks like the engine needs to be split.
