Taller tires or a lift for my mule 4010?

I've got about 15 hours on my new Mule 4010. I've noticed it is real low in the front. I've banged the front skid plate a few times. Can I go from the 23" to 25" tires to gain a little height? Or, should I install a lift kit? I will be using it on hunt trips and around my rocky farm.

Come on guys....doesn't anyone have some answers or suggestions? Surely I'm not the first to want more ground clearance on the 4010.

Best try to make do with what came on the Mule if you want reliability, having said that I took off a set of vision Chrome Wheels and like new Baja Trax Swamp boss tires Rear 25X10X12 and front 25X8X12 (the ones in my avatar) and replaced them with new stock wheels and tires because the front tires rubbed the fenders in a turn. I also have a new set of heavy dury front springs and a new set of 2" lifts for the front that came with the Mule, the HD springs and lifts were never mounted.. I don't need them since our Mule stays on flat gravel roads and turf. They are all for sale for $500 to be picked up here in central Texas.

Here is what they looked like on my 3010 Mule;

Yep, that's what the plate is there for, best just to take it easy. The average lift kit consists of spacers of one sort or another, and pushes the factory suspension geometry to the extreme, accelerating wear on ball joints, control arm bushings, CV shafts, and steering linkage.

I put a two inch lift on a 3010 mule a few years ago. And there have been zero issues. It brought the ground clearance up to a more useable height. As far as the wheels go, that would also further raise the vehicle. But as others have said this could cause problems down the road. If you decide that you're okay with fixing whatever might happen with bigger tires putting more torque on those tiny gears. I'd say do it, if you really need the extra clearance. I believe the problems would be minimal, if at all. For me though, it was a matter of expense. As well as the fact that an after market winch mount has rubbing issues at full steering lock to lock extension. This is with stock tires. But for me, the lift gave me what I needed. Also it gave me stiffer front springs.

he Thunderhawk Performance KB3333 heavy-duty lift kit is designed to fit the 4000-series, 3000-series and the 2500-series Kawasaki Mules. This lift kit raises these vehicles almost 2", increasing ground clearance and allowing tires up to 26" diameter to be installed while retaining acceptable driveline geometry.

      Hello All...
           Just bought a 2014 Massimo 500 UTV.  It;s not running at the moment, but hopefully will soon.  I need a seat for it also (passenger side, if it makes any difference.)  It is a crank-but no start situation.  Just now starting to read the boards for solutions.  Apparently these models are well known for this issue.  If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to chime in, it would be greatly appreciated.
      Thanks

      I have a Coleman HS400UTV-5 got it manly for hunting and spending time with the grandkids
      The one problem I am trying to avoid. My son borrowed it last summer and said it ran hot so he added water to it . I do not know how much he put in so I would like to drain most of it and add new coolant to protect it this winter. I can find no drain cock or any way of draining it besides loosening a hose.  Any suggestions ????

      I have a Coleman Outfitter 550 purchased in January 2022 that runs and operates pretty well.  65 hours on it so far.   It is a work vehicle for my 10 hilly acres with two 1 acre woods and 5 acres of "lawn".  The rest is under a lake.
      My parking brake does not seem to have any grip.  It worked when new but after a month or so, it is just almost useless.     I press the parking brake pedal hard until it stops. Still, it won't hold even on slight inclines.   I don't see the caliper move as I press the brake pedal down.  There seems to be plenty of pad left on it and the rotor is shiny as if it is rubbing a little when applied, but not enough to stop it from rolling.
      Any thoughts on possible causes?
