You need to be sure it is the bearing and not the hub. The hub is softer than the bearing and is sometime the problem. If the bearing just slips out when removed, it is the hub. There has be many write ups on this forum of the R&R process & what to watch out for. Also if you are lucky, the hub nut may just need to be a tighter, but not likely.

silverbullet,

i just traded for an 08 trooper t2 the running gears seen to be in good shape. but unfortunately the ball joints & wheel bearings not so much. do you or anyone know of any good part numbers other than joyners #'s just dont seem to cut it at the local part stores. i came across another forum titled  Parts, Pieces, and Information for our Troopers & Joyners. but no ball joint and bearing cross reference every joyner dealer i have found in the U.S. even dealers abroad tails me those parts is unavailable at this time. (due to covid 19)  i really need some ball joints & brake pads asap and i thank i may have the bearing situation worked out but not a hundred percent on that. on another forum i read that where the factory part description on the bearings is peer 65x35x35mm and they said that a 35x65x35mm will work i crossed it and it is a double roller bearing national brand part # B31 at car quest and i thank the peer 65x35x35 is a roller bearing also have learned the peer has merged with SKF brand. Have credit/debit card will buy. can you help? oh did i mention i need brake pads too?

Chris, you are sure it is the bearing?  My problems were never the bearing but the hub housing that the bearing is pressed into.    Quality of material allowed/allows the bearing to turn in the hub & elongate.  All my source info is in earlier posts as I have not had or been in the Joyner community for years.  Good luck but check the hub housing.  That is the reason I bought a spare non-running Joyner for parts, material quality.

thank you for replying i really appreciate it.... but it would be nice to know if there is a substitute ball joint for this thing .  ive already been ripped off twice in the past 2 weeks  trying to get ball joints from sites such as ebay sellers claiming to have them but they don't have, leaving me the time and stress getting my money back. i really dont have a wheel bearing problem was just trying to stock up on them. but i am in desperate need for ball joints. if you can help i would be in a debt of thanks to you... i know there is a substitute from another auto or utv out there just dont know what they are...

I have a Coleman UTV 400 and looking for something to store it in.  Preferably something vinyl or plastic with its own base that can stand alone outside and house the UTV.  I think the dimensions of the UT400 are around 106" long 52" wide and 74" tall.
What should I consider that won't break the bank?

the regen braking on my e1 has stopped working unless (for eg) I am going down a hill in low and it's slowing things down to stick to the 10kph limit. when I drive and take my foot off the accelerator it's not initiating the regen to slow things down and instead just coasts at whatever speed it is at, or speeds up as the regen is not limiting it. the brake lights work, so it's probably not a fault with the sensor on the brake pedal

hoping someone else might be able to provide some suggestions on things to check, as the mob that I bought it off seem to have gone silent on me
