My wife left me and took off with another woman  She went to Disney land with my sister in law. She'll be back this evening :)

So, I took off Tuesday and went for a ride in a place called Soapstone Basin, about 20 miles east of Heber, Utah and came home on Friday. Wish I'd had some company, but I had some good rides, put about 200 miles on the Trooper and saw some great scenery. Took a few panoramic videos and some photos, but probably not enough to do justice to the area. I have .gpx files if any one wants them, Just drop me PM with your email & I'll send them to you, I haven't figured any other way to pass them on.

Any way, enjoy the photos, http://rides.webshots.com/album/580716823rWIfWR

Oh yea, saw some pretty neat things, too, woke up the first morning and there was a buck deer about 15 feet from my camper pawing at the ground for what was left of a salt lick, watched him for about 10 minutes until it took off when a runner came down the road. Also saw what I thought was 3 wolves, but as I analyzed what I saw, I believe what I saw was a coyote with 2 great pyrenees sheepdogs on his tail and they were all in high gear.

While I was out riding, I noticed a broken weld at the top of what would be the windshield to the bar going back on the right, after looking closer, I noticed the left side was broken also, but hadn't separated. 2566861330104110397nFKVEs_th.jpg

Also had one of my shock limiting straps break, replaced them both today. I don't know if anyone else has shocks that can over extend, and needs limiting straps, but to monitor the straps, I have wrapped tape around the axles so that if the axle hits the swing arm, it rubs the tape off. 2706581020104110397rOblYt_th.jpg

While I had it up in air working on the straps, I checked the wheels for wobble and, unfortunately, I had some on the right wheel, and I had just put a new bearing in last month, will order roller bearings tomorrow, and also a power steering unit.

I thought you put roller bearings in?

No, my original bearings had failed, so I talked to Silverbullet and ordered some rollers, but told him if they were too far out, send ball bearings. Rollers were weeks out, so he gave me a real good deal on ball bearing to get me up and running. Will be contacting him today.

Kinarfi,

Hate to tell you but it is the HUB, not the bearing! I have the same problem, ya just have to drive it and wait for Lenny to start a machining business to repair the hubs or buy a new hub. The steel is too soft in the Hub for the design! Check you bearing before you waste the money on new bearings!

As with any forum you join, there is a requirement for an obligatory introduction... and that seems fair. How else do you get that first post in there without jumping in with some stupid question right out of nowhere?

Hi. I'm Space Ghost. Well, not really, but that was my call sign on my last deployment before an IED made me non-deployable, and I an now retired/disabled, and living on my wonderful VA disability. I did almost 28 years in total between the Army, Army Reserve, and National Guard. 1 deployment with the Reserve (Desert Storm) and 3 with the Guard (1 pre, and 2 post 9/11)

Married (going on 30 years) one of each. (both out of the nest)

My vehicle is (at least not yet) not a UTV, however, it is an ATV, A 2001 Kawasaki Prairie 400.

BTW, That's Brandy, my former PTS/TBI service dog on the bike. RIP old girl. She's internet famous. Perhaps you've seen her before...

The reason I'm here is that Arthritis is starting to set into my wounds and my mobility is getting worse. I will be selling the quad bike soon, and going with a SXS, and have selected a Can Am model as the replacement, so I figured I had better get on board a forum somewhere. Just put in for my Guard retirement, and will be very soon looking to get into a Commander 6x6.

Wouldn't mind having the Limited with the Hvac system, but am really not sure it's worth the extra 10 grand or not. Plus it's 500 pounds heavier, and I prefer the doors off in nice weather. It's so much easier when working in the yard, and so much more fun when on the trail.

Anyway, I'm here now, so it will help me research more and make up my mind. Plus once I have it, I'll be able to share stories about it and of course, continue to learn more, as it will be my 1st sxs. Still have time before I get my retirement. Takes a good 90 days at least according to the guy I talked to... Typical government efficiency... lol.

Is the cam sprocket a bolt removal or is it pressed on? Dang bolt is on tight. Impact wrench won't even move it.

Hey Guys, I have been chasing a stalling condition for about two weeks now. The bike will crank up and idle fine, then after about 20 seconds it will fall on its face and stall. It happens at both idle and while running at various rpms. You can turn the key off, turn it back on and it will fire right back up without trouble. I have verified spark on both cylinders with a spark tester. I have also added an inline fuel filter, and pulled the injectors to verify proper pulse on each. Things I have replaced - (relearn procedure performed after each component replaced): spark plugs, ECU, relay/fuse box, fuel pump, & throttle position sensor - all with no improvement of the condition. The only warning light I get when the condition occurs is the oil lamp. The bike only has 14 miles. I am at a loss and appreciate any help and suggestions! Thanks

I have a 2023 560 T Boss that I just noticed that back up lights not working, the camera come's on. The book tells you about tail light replacement, so was wondering if the lens is just there.
