Went for a ride out near Stockton, Utah & up to Jacob City

When I got there, I was quite disappointed with the looks of every thing, but ended up staying 3 nights and riding for 4 days, These trail are NOT fire roads, no problem for our Troopers though. I have found that my Trooper eats up trails to easy and fast, that what take quad riders day to do, I do in a day, maybe I don't stop and spectate enough. Rocmoc, Lenny, I'm sure you'd like this area, there is a great county camping area with rest rooms after you get past Ophir that can handle Rocmoc's rig. This is genuine mining roads and some of it is STEEEEEp. Lots of junipers, pines, aspens and rock and cliffs and mountain tops.

If anyone wants a .gpx file of the 4 days rides, PM me with your email address.

Sounds like somewhere that we may have to add to next summer's trip when we come up your way. I will take a look at the historical weather data for June.

Who was the UTV in front of you in the videos? Looks like it was a little cool, sweatshirts ! I think you pick out big mountains just to see what is on the other side, LOL.

Just another friendly atver, don't know if I even got his name. Yea, big mountains, love 'em, and it's always an adventure to find out what's on the other side, seeing the same old stuff gets boring, I wanna see new stuff!!!

Bit of background. First the machine would take for ever to start. So I adjusted the valve shims into spec and made sure the timing is correct. Starts perfectly now.

now it fluctuates on idle. Bogs down, Revs up, repeat. I noticed the fuel pressure drops from 60psi to 20psi while that happens. It also bogs down at the lower end of each gear, higher rpm seems to be fine. Seems to struggle under load. In neutral it revs up perfectly.

brand new fuel pump, fuel filter, gas. I noticed on the fuel pressure regulator there’s that vacuum nipple, it’s not attached to anything and I’m not sure where it would go. Possibly the problem?

Another issue is the tip off the end of the exhaust is broken off, sensor is still attached and connected. Could that cause these issues?

my next plan was to look into the pressure regulator and voltage to fuel pump while driving. Is there anything I’m missing or any ideas you guys have?

      thanks!

Does Anyone by chance have a owners manual and a shop manual for a 2007 800cc trooper. I just bought one and need to figure out where and how to engage and disengage the 4 wheel drive. Is it electronic or is there a hidden lever. PLEASE HELP

This is rocmoc/Michael one of the first on this forum when the Joyner was one of the most active topics.  First an update of others.  The earlier members will also remember Lenny and Jeff.  With myself we organized the first Jamborees in 2009-2012.  Sadly if you have not heard we lost both Lenny and Jeff in 2018.    A great loss to the community.  Myself:  Still around but rolled over to Jeep and Arctic Cat Wildcat.  The Wildcat  design still remains me of my old 2008 Trooper.  Doing well as the Last Man Standing but cleaning out the garage.  Found some New and used Trooper parts I will list in the parts section.  Wanted to give you all a chance before I list on Ebay.  As many of you knew Lenny listed a lot of stuff on Ebay.  Will I partnered a lot of the stuff with him and I still have stuff.  Take care and I will check in for message should you want to ride.  Still make it to Utah every other year and am still in Southern AZ.
