Got to go on a ride with my T2

Recommended Posts

Yeah, I saw that before...didn't know it was you. That is a sweet looking Trooper. Looks like you were hung up on your trailing arm, so I don't think a lift would have done much for you in that situation. But, I applaud you for driving it like it was meant to be driven! Our Troopers definatley don't have as much clearance as some other machines. I had to leave machine and ride in my buddies RZR4 once because I couldn't get through some bolders. He still doesn't let me live that one down. I got him back later that day when we raced. He got a head start & I still blew past him. This was before I went to heavier 30" tires though.

Our long wheelbase and wide body can get us hung up in alot of areas where smaller machines won't, but we enjoy far more cockpit room. If I was building Troopers I would have at least tried to suck the sides up and in a little. Also, I would have not built it with bolts protruding out of the bottom. Before you bend them all up and have to cut them off like I did, I would get a skidplate made out of UHMW. Something like this:

Mine is similar except that I used 1/4" aluminum under the diffs & tranny. Now I don't cringe when I scrape over the rocks or bottom out hard. There have been several berms I have driven over where the bottom just slid over. Before the mod the lower tubes and bolts would have just dug in and I wouldn't have gotten over them.

Another thing you can do is get rid of all the nuts and use nut clips, then all that is exposed underneath it the screw head or bolt head. I got mine at McMaster-Carr. http://images1.mcmaster.com/Contents/gfx/small/94850a150p1s.png?ver=19733236

starts up you have keep rpms up for 5 minutes till it warms up then runs fine. But if it stalls wont start unless you unplug fuel pump and hold it to the floor till it starts then plug pump back in and run it till it warms up then it is fine all day.

Does any have a part number for the fuel pump sock for a 2016 challenger 700 efi. Does not show on any parts diagram but the old pump has one on it.

When we first heard the noise, we immediately stopped driving it...at first we thought it might be a linkage issue, but after further inspection looks like the sound/jolting is coming from the rear diff. Took a video below...
Anyone know what is creating the diff to skip/jump like this? We drained the diff oil and didn't look terrible, no metal.
Other info that may be useful:
      1400 miles on it
      Recently tightened the E brake
P.s. never posted on this forum before, let me know if the video does not work

I got an old 2003 Arctic Cat 375 Auto, and just bought a 2008 AC 650 side by side. Got a new starter, solenoid, and battery for the 650. Gonna change the crankcase oil and filter while I'm at it.
Anything I oughta watch out for from them that's done the starter/solenoid on this model?
Don't have a manual yet for the 650. Any recommendations for oil weight/grade?
      Thanks.

I have a 2012 Hisun ut400 that I just bought. I was told it just needed a belt, but nope, all three clutches were shot. So I went online and found a couple videos on replacing the clutches. They stated that the wet clutch and primary clutch should turn easily counterclockwise and harder clockwise because it's turning the engine over. So that is what I'm getting when the wet clutch housing bolts are loose, when I tighten them the shaft now turns very hard counterclockwise. Anyone have any ideas as to the problem?
