First you have to remove the u-joint under the dash. Then unbolt the 2 bolts that hold it in place, also under the dash. This requires removing the front hood/deck. A lot of us have ours hinged to make getting access to this area easy. I must have opened my hood hundreds of times now so I', real glad mine is hinged. I use the little rubber T handled bungies that the big trucks use to hold the front down.

There is a snap ring near the bottom side of the shaft that holds the shaft itself into the tubing is turns in. Remove the snap ring and with a bit of tapping it should come out.

I purchased a 2008 American Sportsworks Subaru TW265 UTV, with no manual and no previous knowledge. When idling, the steer column shakes uncontrollably, is very noisy, and might be from vibrations from the engine. Logically, I am thinking engine vibration moving up the steering column. I found a schematic, but that has not helped in identifying the specific problem.
      Any thoughts? Suggestions?
      Thanks so much

I have a 2016 550, ive tryed the hisun website and seems i cant get parts there. I would like to add power steering, have seen a few "kits" on ebay
for the 750 not sure if its the same parts needed for the 550, there is a factory bracket already welded to the frame above the standard steering rack, is this to be used
to mount the eps motor? There is also a grey plug hanging just above the brake master cylinder, not sure if thats anything that needs to be used in the install.
Handy with wrenches so if i can find the parts installing it shouldnt be a problem, anyone done this upgrade, was it worth it?

      Hi
I have a 2022 hisun sector eps 550. 30amp fuse is blown for eps. Checked the motor and it’s fine. Opened up the controller and found a bad diode. Dealer wanted 500$ for the controller. Just posting this in case it helps someone. I couldn’t read numbers from the old one so just took a guess and replaced it with a 100v 3amp diode.
