I've been playing with LEDs for quite a while and finally found some I really like and so I decided to make a light bar for my Trooper and do away with the stock unit. Here's some photos of what it will be, just need to get some parts in so I can power them up. It has 12 LEDs, each one is 10 watts, 600 lumens for a total of 120 watts which is almost as much as the stock light bar and 7200 lumens. I have it set up so I can run just the center 4 or the outer 8 or all 12.

Right now it is plain aluminum, which acts as a heat to get rid of the heat so the LEDs don't fry. Does any one know what effect painting it black will have? Black radiates heat best, but the paint may act as insulation. The inside will stay bare, I only want to paint the back and out side.

as far as i know led's don,t generate near the heat that the original lights did. if you have a regular flash light and an led check out the difference. i think you will find your answer. the black paint won't hurt anything.

Wow, took it out the other night and they work great, but I did scare my self. I was working on one of the methods to increase the voltage to drive the lights when the load resistor burned out and because there was no load, the output voltage went to 200+, then when I went to unsolder the resistor, the charge on the capacitor discharged to the tip of the soldering iron with a real nasty pop, at that moment, the tunes I was listening to quit and I thought I had tripped the breaker, then I noticed the lights were still on and the soldering iron light was on and the computer was off, it was tied to the circuit via the PC oscilloscope that I was using. The computer would not turn back on, so I disassembled it, cleaned the dirt and soda spills out of it, found the little Real Time battery holder had a loose solder connection, fixed it, reassembled and wooo hooo, it worked. Had Me Real Worried for a while. Plannint set the middle 4 lights up for a tighter beam spread and leave the outer 8 lights at a 60 degree spread. Can't wait to meet up with Lenny some night and see how do compared to his HID lights.

I turn one light on each morning. You can see it from where you are by looking to the east about 7:30 am. Can;'t miss it, lights up the whole sky. You will want to wear sunglasses during the day. I turn it off as evening approaches. Tell you what, why don't you turn yours on this evening and I'll watch for it. :P Have you noyiced that when you click on this thread that a list of LED light suppliers shows up at the bottom.

I'll make it a point to drive to the top of a local hill and point my Trooper your way and turn the lights on at 12:00 sharp, so be sure to go up on a hill and look my way tonight.

Hey, your stepping on my example of my lights. I'll go up on the moon and shine my lights down so you can see to get to the top of the hill. Is this a light showdown brewing?

You bet, sooner or later we will meet up and dual it out. In my opinion, the addition of an HID to what I have would be ideal, my lights are great for about 100-200 yards and I think the HID would be good for further out lighting. I'm trying to find a way to flip upside down video and then I'll post it also.

Sorry for the theft. :)

2021 Hisun Axis 500 UTV (From Lowes)
      Will NOT START
MY apologies if this is to much info just wanted to give yal the most information possible for help.
I'm a so called diyer. An Electrician by trade 21yrs. I got my S×S from my last job. The contractor purchased this S×S for this specific job brand new, from Lowes. They used it for hauling materials, tools, & a little bit of anything you can think of on an Industrial type job site.
I remember getting on the SxS one time & pushed the gas petal all the way to the floor & SxS had very little power.
So anyway ,when the job finished up back mid July this year (7/2024) , I asked the contractor what they was going to do with it. I was told to take it. Otherwise it would go to the contractors yard (storage yard) & most likely rust away.
Took it home washed it , it had a heavy coat of dust on it & in it dust was every where. My helper & I had to push it on the trailer to get it home.  After washing it throughly I let it sit & dry out for a good day and half, maybe 2 days. Before trying to start it. NO START. Will turn over & try to start but thats it.
So here's what I've purchased & installed. New Air Filter, new spark plug, new air idle control valve (AICV), new throttle position sensor, new throttle body, new oxygen sensor, new digital dash speedometer/fuel gauge/clock.
Also drained the old oil & gas & replaced with new oil & 93oct. gas. I should probably mention that I've changed the AICV twice. The 1st time I changed the AICV I was able to get the SxS started & let idle for at least 10-15min. Drove out of the garage, with very little power,  turned it around & barely got it back in the garage. That was the one & only time I've been able to start the SxS. I've also cleaned the Throttle Body and & intake with TB cleaner.  So after that the AICV was  making weird noise so I pulled it out & tried cleaning it, pretty sure I messed it up. So I purchased a Throttle Body that came with new AICV & TPS. Still NO START.  I've checked the fuel pump & the fuel injector.  I took the injector off still hooked up to wiring & turned the key over, the injector sprayed a lot of gas out kinda the size of a volleyball. I've also checked the clearance gap on the intake & exhaust valve. But today 11/2/2024 I'm going recheck spark plug gap & the valve gaps. And alot of other checking. Would the driver side seat belt have anything to do with it not starting?? I know the driver side seat belt has to be in gauged for full throttle "going fast". Thing is the drv. side seat belt will latch but feels like might be messed up inside of it. Tired opening it up but to no avail.  I've never had a S×S or 4wheeler so I was really excited when I got the S×S,not so much anymore.  I work on & fix my own vehicles usually no problems.  But this SxS is kicking my ass.
So if possible & someone could help me with some ideas or tell me what Im doing wrong or did wrong, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you for reading thus far.

I have a 2023 Tracker 800SX LE that I want to add a sway bar to.
The service manual shows how to remove and reinstall the sway bar.
I called Cabela's to try and get the saw bar.   They said they can't get one and the 800SX doesn't have one!!??  Then why is it listed in the service manual?? No answer from them.
Have any of you found a saw bar that fits and what did it cost?

Pics are the original orange when purchased and after painting with a textured bed liner type coating.
