There are shocks on e-bay #280797654903 & #280797653165. I know it's a lot to ask with just a picture, but can anyone tell if the would work on a T2, 08. I emailed the guy but he could not tell me what model they came off of, only that he thinks it was a 1000cc buggy. I haven't seen double spring shocks on the troopers I've seen. If one of you knows I need answer pretty quick the go off in 7hrs.

IMHO, they will not work! They do not compress enough. See my post of http://www.utvboard....rch__1#entry659 Just subtract the travel from the extended length and you get in around 18 or so compressed. Be careful !!!

Lots of post on here about shocks. Do a search for shocks rocmoc, shocks Lenny and shocks Kinarfi for as a few who have changed out or modified their shocks.

I agree with Rocmoc. They also look like cheap shocks from China. I wouldn't touch them myself. Wait for a good buy on Quality shocks like Fox dual coil over. Then You can tune them to get things right.

Thanks, I'll wait till I get enough saved up to buy good shocks. I want Kings but man are the expensive, probably settle for fox or something like them, takes a long time to save on SSI.

Best thing I ever did to my t4 was to put Kings on it. Ride Is so much better. I had stock on it for 50 miles on a test ride and changed them immediately. 2k but a great investment if you like a smoother ride. Power steering was 2nd best modification.

I hate to bring this back up, but I want to know if anyone has " time tested" the Afcos from makin trax. I will be doing a shock upgrade before winter is over and I am curious to know if the Afcos are making difference or if I should do a more custom job. Thanks.

I wouldn't do anything with shocks that didn't allow you the ability to change both rebound and compression valving without sending it in. Same with springs. I also wouldn't do anything with a shock that won't take 2 springs, a tender spring and a main spring, and allow the ability to switch them out easily. If you want to get the suspension right, you really need to fool around with switching springs and valving until it preforms the way you want. You can get a lot of improvment by just going to better shocks that replace the stock shocks. Springs need to be changed out too, stock ones are just to stiff. But, if you want it to ride really good and still take the big hits, you have to work with it.

Not sure what 2scoops did. You can get more travel with frame mods. I'm getting 14-1/2" both front and rear. Stock travel is is only about 7-1/2" on one end and about 9" on the other. Can't remember which end was what anymore.

      Thanks for accepting me!
Haven't got a side by side yet, but have been shopping.
Any advice welcome & I am on a limited budget, so haven't decided yet on new or used.

I need a pair of front shocks for a Landpride Treker 4200NT, from 2005?  Does anyone know of a good salvage yard - or another source?
The old shocks have "SEBAC 11685 12 3" stamped on them (or something very close - it's hard to read). I think SEBAC are (were?) an Italian company.
Is there a compatible shock I can use? I don't have easy access to a scrap yard where I can compare shocks etc.
      Thanks,
      -Kim

We have a 2018 Cub Cadet Challenger 400 and I found this Internally Threaded Bolt with a 10mm head size laying in the floor of the shop bay here on our ranch where we park the Cub Cadet.
Trying to figure out where it belongs...

Just received delivery of a 2024 AMP Pro.  Thought I'd start a thread with my impressions as I use it and learn more.  There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of real-world usage information out there on this model.  Hope this will help others as they research.
      Intended Use Cases
Fire mitigation / slash removal from a 5 acre forested and well-gamble-oaked property.  The previous owners thought as much about fire mitigation as I do about fashion: not much. Snow removal Stump pulling General hauling (rock, lumber, etc.) Weimaraner energy depletion.  Wasn't an original use case, but a nice added bonus.  Experiences So Far
Wasn't impressed that two of the bumpers on the underside of the bed where it sits upon the frame were missing.  The metal on metal contact has damaged the powder coating and the frame.  I expect a little better QC.
I've only put a few hours on it, so not a ton to report on usage.  It isn't quiet; it's silent.  I can't even detect an electric note from the motor. I removed (and subsequently replaced) the motor cover noticed that the motor is German and made by Schambuller.  The motor controller is Italian and made by Dana TM4.  Given the operating specs of both I found on the web, I suspect both are higher quality than the previous Navitas (which is supposed to be decent).  The motor is rated at 25 hp and 71.5 lb-ft of torque.  It feels very powerful.  All the torque is delivered instantly, if desired.
The bed is huge and has an electric dump as standard.  Great feature but would like it to go up a bit more.  Probably not feasible from an engineering perspective, but I want and I need ;).
Power steering is nice, but vague.  Probably common to many UTVs, but I am accustomed to more direct results from input.  Plan early and plan often.
In our first full day of usage, we hauled about 1/2 as much slash as the entire rest of the year when I was doing it by hand cart.  I may get fatter, but I'll also get more done.  After a few days of usage, the battery meter has gone down by 1/10th.
      Until next time...
