Fuel Lines

Was out at Glamis North KOA this past weekend and on the way back from the Bat Caves after dark Saturday i started smelling gas.Got out and found a hole in my fuel line before the filter(mine is located after the pump below the regulator). Luckaly the hole was aimed perfectly out the drivers side towards the rear wheel and not back towards the engine.I had plently of slack in the line so i was able to just cut off the section with the hole and re-connect the line to the filter. This is not the stock fuel line, i replaced with fuel line purchased from auto zone about two years ago. Will be going in and replaceing all again this week.I know we have alot of pressure on the lines but should they not last longer? As you all know i dont get out that much so its not like i have tons of miles and hours running on it. Not from the weather either.Mine is always garaged.

I think they make 2 different pressure lines for EFI fuel systems. Be sure you use the higher pressure lines and don't use typical hose clamps but clamps that are specifically for injection lines. Keep the hoses secure so they don't move around and abrade against something. Hoses sould last a long time. Stailness lines are expensive but the best. Glad you didn't have a fire.

starts up you have keep rpms up for 5 minutes till it warms up then runs fine. But if it stalls wont start unless you unplug fuel pump and hold it to the floor till it starts then plug pump back in and run it till it warms up then it is fine all day.

Does any have a part number for the fuel pump sock for a 2016 challenger 700 efi. Does not show on any parts diagram but the old pump has one on it.

I have a yanmar longhorn 6 seater which I believe is having fuel delivery issues.  It will run off of starter fluid and will sometimes run on gas but will not idle.  Fuel pump is new and verified to put out 56 psi.  Injector is new, I'm reading 10.5 volts at the injector, gas is new.  The unit will run when the engine symbol is not present at the gauges.  Diagnostic port doesn't appear to be present, can't find it where yanmar says it should be.  Oil is full but old.  Any ideas what's going on here?  Is there a maintenance function that will shut this machine down if it has old oil?

What is the fuel economy of the Hisun HS590? (I guess it is the same as the HS550)
I count in liter per 100 km, but if you use MPG it's okay with me, but please tell if you use the US or UK MPG!

I have a 2016 Cub Cadet 750 Challenger Crew. My in tank fuel pump is inoperative. Can I put in an external inline electric fuel pump to replace the intank one? The inline ones are about $350. An inline electric one is about $25. Both are easy to replace just really expensive for the intank one. Any kind of inline external pump I should look at? What PSI is needed? Thanks for any help
