I got an old 2003 Arctic Cat 375 Auto, and just bought a 2008 AC 650 side by side. Got a new starter, solenoid, and battery for the 650. Gonna change the crankcase oil and filter while I'm at it.

Anything I oughta watch out for from them that's done the starter/solenoid on this model?

Don't have a manual yet for the 650. Any recommendations for oil weight/grade?

Thanks.

Like chase said I don't know, not familiar with those either. But if it has an internal wet oil bathed clutch. Be sure you use a oil designed for motor cycle or atu/UTV clutches. As far as oil weight. Should be able to find that info in the owners manual.

Or maybe use 10w30 or 10w40. The 1st number, 10 means both oil weights are the same thickness in cold temps. The 2nd number 30 or 40 is the thickness when they get hot. And the 40 is thicker than the 30.

I made the mistake and put 10w30 in my blazer and it knocked for about 5 minutes until the engine warmed up. Immediately drained and put the recommended 5w30 in and had no trouble. 5 is thinner than 10 cold and I guess the tolerances were too tight for the 10w30 when engine was cold. Kept that blazer for another 10 or so years after that.

Some people say don't use synthetic oil with wet clutches some say it's fine. Personally I won't use synthetic oil in anything. But to each his own I guess. But if it is an oil bathed clutch it will definitely need oil formulated for wet clutches.

And welcome to the site.

Just wondering if mine is the only one that’s seems very loud while driving. It just seems louder that other brands I’m use to. I guess you get what you pay for I’m assuming.

      Hello All...
Just bought a 2014 Massimo 500 UTV.  It;s not running at the moment, but hopefully will soon.  I need a seat for it also (passenger side, if it makes any difference.)  It is a crank-but no start situation.  Just now starting to read the boards for solutions.  Apparently these models are well known for this issue.  If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to chime in, it would be greatly appreciated.
      Thanks

Unfortunately my rear Diff housing cracked on my 2013 and I need to replace it or find a good used complete differential.  I think the same one was used from 2013-2016?  Any help or referrals appreciated.  Thanks, Gary  (949)370-2575 (in UT)

I want to put a charger/maintainer for my Coleman UT400 for the winter and need to know if it uses a 6v or 12v battery.
One search online showed a 6v, but another stated 12v..
I can look at the battery, but after taking the seat out you cannot see the top of the battery without also removing the top plate under the seat and at 8 degrees outside, I'd rather not be out there too long.
Can anyone verify what volt (6 or 12) the batter is?
      Thanks in advance ...
