Ok, so it seems to me that if I'm going to have to rebuild the motor anyway, a little Sneaky Pete setup on the 650 might be fun. I'm thinking something to top the dune at Comp Hill, that kind of thing.

Has anyone built a N2O system for a Joyner? I figured I'd drill and tap the bottom of the intake with Fogger nozzles, put the smallest jets available in and hit it halfway up.

Anyone done this?

You're crazy. But a good kind of crazy.

I was actually thinking, as I noodled it a bit, of two Fogger nozzles, one in each manifold runner, which would provide both the fuel and the N2O. The issue I can see is the size nozzle required may be much smaller than normally used.

Here's the math: 650 cc in two cylinders is roughly equal to 1300 cc in four cylinders, or 2600 cc in a V8. That's a very small displacement, and many nozzle setups are for 5700 cc or larger V8 models.

The EFi kit, I don't think would work, because the car is a carb setup. Maybe some Joyners are EFI, it would work on that, where you just add the N2O in a nozzle, and have the computer add extra fuel when the N2O is activated.

I really don't need the extra power all the time, just at the tops of dunes, so this could be the hot setup until the motor goes completely and I get the Silver Bullet kit.

Hmmm....

Im sorry i assumed u had a trooper i guess... check out Highlifter.com. they custom build kits for atv's ans side by sides. They will prolly suggest an efi pump for the nos kit but they will run 2 fogger nozles and know the correct jet sizes

They make all kinds of kits for snowmobiles as small as 440 for sure that I have seen google nos for snowmobile mite help you out

A little research showed that the N2O kits with a pair of fogger nozzles and all the parts are more expensive than the Silver Bullet engine kit. And, I'd be adding N2O to an engine with cast pistons.... Maybe Silver Bullet first, then N2O..... In the meantime, I put the evac system partially in place. If I didn't want everything nicely painted, it would probably be easier <_<

So, I've been collecting bits and pieces on eBay for my buggy nitrous system. Kinda fun putting little bits together to see if you can make it work. Crankcase evac really woke it up, by the way.

I have a Joyner Trooper 1100 4 place that has been sitting for a number of years. I have everything taken care of but i can't get the fuel through the injectors. Fuel pump puts full pressure on them but they don't turn on or spray fuel. Any ideas?

We have a 2018 Cub Cadet Challenger 400 and I found this Internally Threaded Bolt with a 10mm head size laying in the floor of the shop bay here on our ranch where we park the Cub Cadet.
Trying to figure out where it belongs...

As I tried to do a conversion with the Yamaha 660 motor, I realized the 660 was never fuel injected so it would not work for the fuel injected hisun motor swap. But the good thing is the hisun 750 motor is a clone of the 660 Yamaha but with the components for the fuel injection (cam/crank position sensor). So that left me with a new rebuilt Yamaha 660 and still a broke 750 hisun motor. I took apart 750 think the timing chain had broke from all that I've heard about these motors. The chain was not broke, but just off cam and crank gears! The chain tensioner was at fault!  I've ordered Yamaha 660 replacement parts, chain, two exhaust valves (which got bent when chain came off while motor was spinning) and seals. The piston has 2 little nicks where it had hit valves but no damage otherwise. The head is being redone at the machine shop and I'll be putting it back together in the next couple of weeks. Also I finally tracked down a Service Manual with all the info on the 550/750 Challenger.
