hey guys I know theres a lot of info on here about shocks whats been done what worked, suspension mods and so on. I wanna upgrade my shocks soon some Im doing some research and looking at price. Im considering radflo shocks and if im correct it seems like on the forum a 2.0 with 8 inch of travel is a good idea. What I wanna do is basically get a shock that I can put in the stock location and I was thinking id go with an extra inch of travel to be safe. so what SIZE would you guys recomend that being said. I have read the info here on this site and I would do a crazy shock setup but I do not have the fabricating skills and there is only one shop in my area that could help and his price is insane

thank u charlie

Going an inch longer is OK as long as you are able to compress to the required length. If you don't you will bottom out on the shock and lose travel.

I have a 6 inch up front and 8 inch in the rear. Both are in stock mounting brackets. The fronts are right at the cv bind at full extension but dont quite bind. The rears have to have limit straps or the axels will rub right before full extension. Not as nice a setup as the other guys. But works for me.

What did you put up front?

I used the Fox 2.0 coilovers with reservoirs. The 6 inch bolts in the front just right, but you may need to use a limit strap there just in case. The 8 inch bolts in the rear, but it exteneds a little too far so a limit strap is a must there. The 6 inch is a single spring and the 8 inch is a 2 spring.

I have a Coleman Outfitter 550 purchased in January 2022 that runs and operates pretty well.  65 hours on it so far.   It is a work vehicle for my 10 hilly acres with two 1 acre woods and 5 acres of "lawn".  The rest is under a lake.
My parking brake does not seem to have any grip.  It worked when new but after a month or so, it is just almost useless.     I press the parking brake pedal hard until it stops. Still, it won't hold even on slight inclines.   I don't see the caliper move as I press the brake pedal down.  There seems to be plenty of pad left on it and the rotor is shiny as if it is rubbing a little when applied, but not enough to stop it from rolling.
      Any thoughts on possible causes?

Is there a better performing higher volume injector than what they come with or what is the best replacement for the original?

Does anyone have any suggestions for aftermarket shocks.  I have a T-Boss 550 and took it riding in some rough trails and the stock suspension was uncomfortably rough.
      Thanks

I need a pair of front shocks for a Landpride Treker 4200NT, from 2005?  Does anyone know of a good salvage yard - or another source?
The old shocks have "SEBAC 11685 12 3" stamped on them (or something very close - it's hard to read). I think SEBAC are (were?) an Italian company.
Is there a compatible shock I can use? I don't have easy access to a scrap yard where I can compare shocks etc.
      Thanks,
      -Kim
