When I am driving at 30 to 40 mph on the highway, the display will change from H (high) to R (reverse). It does not actually shift into reverse, it seems to shift into neutral and starts losing speed and the gas pedal has no effect. After the rpm/speed drops for 5 seconds or so, it changes back to H and runs fine for another minute or so. You have to try to drive it at less than 5000 rpm or so, to try and keep this from happening. Any ideas on what the problem might be? It only happens at the higher speeds.

I am into five years of ownership of my electric side by side and I am noticing some deterioration of power. Although I measured the voltage at over 49 volts, I believe the batteries are beginning to fail. I charge them about twice a week. Last year the charger went out and I replaced it with a 48 volt golf cart charger. What has been your experience with the batteries?

Hello All...
Just bought a 2014 Massimo 500 UTV. It;s not running at the moment, but hopefully will soon. I need a seat for it also (passenger side, if it makes any difference.) It is a crank-but no start situation. Just now starting to read the boards for solutions. Apparently these models are well known for this issue. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to chime in, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

My father-in-laws 750 hisun will not change gears unless he completely turns the motor off then shifts. I thought it might be a brake problem but he thought clutch. He took it to a jackleg down the road and he basically charged him $300 and did not fix a thing. Any ideas would be useful because he really can’t afford throwing money at it.
