Hey everyone,

I’m in the market for a UTV windshield that can withstand extreme conditions, including high winds, dust, and off-road impacts.

I’ve seen a lot of options out there, but I’m unsure which one will provide the best protection and durability.

Does anyone have experience with windshields that excel in these environments? Are there specific brands or materials you recommend?

I’m particularly interested in options that offer both durability and clarity.

Any tips or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Mine has Plexiglas that folds down in the middle..it's crap..the fold makes for poor visibility up or down and it's now so scratched up I can barely see thru it.

I agree, while mine doesn't fold you can take either half off. I will have to take the top off if I use it much as it's so bad I can barely see thru it. Oh, its plexiglas.

A little late on this but similar to what has been discussed above, plexiglass is junk. I had one on my Can-am Commander and just threw it away. It was hazy and had terrible visibility. I would suggest getting a laminated glass windshield with vents. They are well worth the extra money. There are a lot of companies that make affordable aftermarket windshields as well. I have personally used Alpha Windshields and been very happy with their product. https://www.alphawindshields.com/ just depends on what side by side you have. If they don't make one that fits then there are quite a few companies that make a nice product. That is my suggestion.

      Hi,
      New to the forum.
Came here looking for some experienced UTV users who can enlighten me about which brand should I pick for my very first UTV or SXS.
      I'm between 3 brands and 3 models:
      *Kawasaki MULE PRO-FXR   1000.
      *Yamaha wolverine rmax2.
      *Can am Commander XTP.
The use I'm willing to give it is mostly to go to the range with my wife, load steel targets and all our shooting gear, we shoot a lot, rifles, Shotguns and Handguns for practice, training and competition. (Range is about 10 miles from home)
But also I want something that I can take to the trails and have fun on dirt, mud, rocks, puddles or creeks.
Any objective information will be appreciated, specially which is more reliable and durable.
Thank you and happy 4th of July.

I purchased a 2008 American Sportsworks Subaru TW265 UTV, with no manual and no previous knowledge. When idling, the steer column shakes uncontrollably, is very noisy, and might be from vibrations from the engine. Logically, I am thinking engine vibration moving up the steering column. I found a schematic, but that has not helped in identifying the specific problem.
      Any thoughts? Suggestions?
      Thanks so much
