also curious as to what happened...steering rack updates with a new upper plate or changing out to the most current steering box is what I have seen....we have been putting power steering into the newer/updated boxes without trouble...that box does look kinda cool tho....Hardy

What happened to the old one?

Hit a tree with the front tire blow off the top of the steering box. Dedub has done a subaru steering in he's it drives real nice but it rides even better he added a shock and left the stock one's in. Rides a lot better than mine.

what parts are damaged is the plate still straight did it just strip out the screws if it just stripped out the screws you can fix that with a helicoil kit I think a helicoil repair is stronger than the original

Re-drill ant tap a size larger. On the steering box above, 1.5:1 sounds awful fast for the trooper. If I'm right, that would be only about 135 degrees of steering wheel turn from stop to stop. Stock is about 2 turns and its still hard to turn. I had 3 turns from stop to stop on mine and it helped a lot. I don't think the power steering would be enough to push the 1.5:1 box.

Thanks Yes I can re tap But I was just looking to see whats out there. Lenny those cams are on the money with the new intake and fuel controller it runs real good the wife said my be to good since I hit the tree. I would like to see some else do the intake I thought it was better than the fuel controller. All 1100cc Chery motors have them on them except the trooper and that were I think is were you lose power at. On my air/fuel gauge it went from 11 when I start it to a 11.6 is what it will read when I start it now.. the part # is 472-1008013

I have a 2018 cub cadet challenger 750 I bought brand new almost 2 years ago the first month I had it the exhaust broke and burnt the spark plug wire in two that was a recall so the dealership installed the new one it had a different design and it bolted up to the bottom two plugs below the spark plug the dealership said they had to Adjust the exhaust valves I get the machine back thanking everything is good now wrong not even a week after I get it back the timing chain tensioner comes apart inside the motor I take it back to the dealership They put one on I get the machine back thanking everything is good but then just like before not even a week goes by when I was riding the Machine automatically quits going come to find out the wet clutch was burned up the primary clutch head stripped off of the splines I get that fixed and then  it overheats I take it back they bleed the air out of the coolant they bring it back to me the same day that I get it back it overheats again I take it back they temporarily fix it again just enough to let the warranty run out and now the machine has been to multiple different mechanics I have had them try to bleed the air out they have stood it up on its end I have had the water pump changed I have had the fan hooked to a switch so I could leave it on all the time but still almost 2 years later not even 200 hours on the machine and I cannot ride it The dealership will not take it back as a lemon I have tried I am at my wits end I have no clue what to try next

      Hi
I have a 2022 hisun sector eps 550. 30amp fuse is blown for eps. Checked the motor and it’s fine. Opened up the controller and found a bad diode. Dealer wanted 500$ for the controller. Just posting this in case it helps someone. I couldn’t read numbers from the old one so just took a guess and replaced it with a 100v 3amp diode.

so i just picked up a 2008 1100 trooper and iv ordered a few parts for it now and 99% of what i got fits perfect my issue now is my rear wheel hub is stripped out got a new cv and it fits great but i order 2 different hubs from 2 different places now and they are both wrong the spline opening is to small to fit the factory cv shaft and yes the shaft factory part #s are the same paid 250 for an original new replacement if anyone has anything that works to replace the original hub please point me in the right direction

The conversion took about 350lbs. off the vehicle.  It never rode great, but now I feel every  crack in the road.  I have backed off spring compression nut to the point just under where they would move around if suspension was at full extension, but it is still very stiff.  I would like to put some softer coilover springs on it, but I have no idea what the spring rate is with the original springs so I would just be guessing on what to order.  Does anyone have the data for the original spring compression rate?  I am willing to give up a little ground clearance for a softer ride. Right now when sitting still the rear suspension is at or near full extension and the rear tires have several degrees of camber which will cause uneven wear if allowed to continue in this state.
