Were buying the 2015 Dominator X and wonder, is the warranty on this machine for 1 year parts and labor. The dealer were buying from says 6 months labor but I called another dealer and they said 1 year parts and labor. So which is it.

I looked around and seen its 1 year with 2 years on the engine.

Please clear this up.

I got the scoop on odes now.

A dealer I been working with to buy the 2015 dominator X 800cc told me they can't get the dominator X 1000cc but another dealer told me they can. The warranty was quoted by the dealer I was going to buy the 800cc 2015 dominator X from as 6 months labor and 12 month parts with 24 months on the engine. So basicaly after 6 months its up to you to pay for repairs "IF" the dealer can get parts from odes aka china, taiwan, japan or where ever they have to buy the parts and container ship them to the west coast distributor. Odes states on their website parts are shipped out in 2-3 days. Question is, from china or the west coast. When odes comes into port, they may have to sit months before getting unloaded.

Since odes is now based in an L.A distributor near the long beach port they have access to the containers as soon as they are released by customs. Then they truck the container to the odes warehouse where it is unloaded and inventoried and then stocked. Who knows how long that takes once the container is in the hands of the west coast distributor.

Talking with another dealer who stopped selling odes tells me odes fails to answer the phone, emails and can't ship the parts as stated on the odes website, thus he could not keep customers happy. For this reason and a new odes contract sent out from odes which makes the dealer buy 1 unit a month and 6 pages later they have to buy another 3 a month, convinced this dealer to drop odes.

Back to the dealer I was going to buy the dominator from. We get credit approved thru an odes progam at 1.99 percent 36 months, then the lender comes up with a new angle that the buyer has to show all kinds of information to the dealer after being approved. The dealer tries to contact odes and guess what, no answer and no return calls. The dealer is pulling his hair out and is so frustrated he says forget it.

I thought it was the dealer screwing with us. But after talking to the dealer who dropped odes, it's odes who is failing the dealer and customers.

I thought this was all straightened out when this west coast exclusive distributor took control of odes. Apparently not and buying odes should be a carefully thought out decision.

The dealer that dropped odes did say this, the machine is cheap but if not beaten to hell, will last.

The warranty is 24 Month Engine, 12 Months Transmission etc, it is 6 Months labor(which is Industry STD with Polaris Canam etc) You do have the option to get a extended warranty, as far as parts all are in stock on west coast, I will admit Odes had some issues back in 2012 to 2013 but have really gotten things under control, for the dealer their is no reason for him to call Odes, everything is automated, log in and order parts or warranty claim, usually its responded to in the first day, we are a multi brand dealer and work on everything, any UTV holds up based on how it is treated, and we have been fairly impressed with odes build quality and definatly what you get for the price, just our 2 cents....

Is the windshield covered under warranty. The first time we tucked up windshield we could not get out and now it is scratched terribly down both sides from the screws. We just bought our dominator x 5 seated a month ago. Also when will there be lift kits available? I heard the rhino lift kits work but hate to buy and they don't work.

I called Mattracks and they said they had a few different tracks for the dominator x and would even have them for the 1000cc when it's out in january. I want to get one and put tracks on it for the snow and would use without in summer, so I wanted to know if they made them and how hard was it to swap them. said it was easy and wouldn't take long

I just purchased a used 2023 Massimo warrior UTV SxS 1000mx with 600 miles on it. I didn't even get a full day of riding and the driver's side rear axle broke. I'm pretty sure it was already going bad because we would hear a noise once in a while. I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems with theirs. Also looking for places to buy accessories.

I have a 2018 cub cadet challenger 750 I bought brand new almost 2 years ago the first month I had it the exhaust broke and burnt the spark plug wire in two that was a recall so the dealership installed the new one it had a different design and it bolted up to the bottom two plugs below the spark plug the dealership said they had to Adjust the exhaust valves I get the machine back thanking everything is good now wrong not even a week after I get it back the timing chain tensioner comes apart inside the motor I take it back to the dealership They put one on I get the machine back thanking everything is good but then just like before not even a week goes by when I was riding the Machine automatically quits going come to find out the wet clutch was burned up the primary clutch head stripped off of the splines I get that fixed and then  it overheats I take it back they bleed the air out of the coolant they bring it back to me the same day that I get it back it overheats again I take it back they temporarily fix it again just enough to let the warranty run out and now the machine has been to multiple different mechanics I have had them try to bleed the air out they have stood it up on its end I have had the water pump changed I have had the fan hooked to a switch so I could leave it on all the time but still almost 2 years later not even 200 hours on the machine and I cannot ride it The dealership will not take it back as a lemon I have tried I am at my wits end I have no clue what to try next

We recently purchased the Axis x550. Fueled it with 93 fuel and drove one time around the farm and the 02 fault error appeared. Any ideas?

Just received delivery of a 2024 AMP Pro.  Thought I'd start a thread with my impressions as I use it and learn more.  There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of real-world usage information out there on this model.  Hope this will help others as they research.
      Intended Use Cases
Fire mitigation / slash removal from a 5 acre forested and well-gamble-oaked property.  The previous owners thought as much about fire mitigation as I do about fashion: not much. Snow removal Stump pulling General hauling (rock, lumber, etc.) Weimaraner energy depletion.  Wasn't an original use case, but a nice added bonus.  Experiences So Far
Wasn't impressed that two of the bumpers on the underside of the bed where it sits upon the frame were missing.  The metal on metal contact has damaged the powder coating and the frame.  I expect a little better QC.
I've only put a few hours on it, so not a ton to report on usage.  It isn't quiet; it's silent.  I can't even detect an electric note from the motor. I removed (and subsequently replaced) the motor cover noticed that the motor is German and made by Schambuller.  The motor controller is Italian and made by Dana TM4.  Given the operating specs of both I found on the web, I suspect both are higher quality than the previous Navitas (which is supposed to be decent).  The motor is rated at 25 hp and 71.5 lb-ft of torque.  It feels very powerful.  All the torque is delivered instantly, if desired.
The bed is huge and has an electric dump as standard.  Great feature but would like it to go up a bit more.  Probably not feasible from an engineering perspective, but I want and I need ;).
Power steering is nice, but vague.  Probably common to many UTVs, but I am accustomed to more direct results from input.  Plan early and plan often.
In our first full day of usage, we hauled about 1/2 as much slash as the entire rest of the year when I was doing it by hand cart.  I may get fatter, but I'll also get more done.  After a few days of usage, the battery meter has gone down by 1/10th.
      Until next time...
