Well fixed the rear locker cable and put new tie rods on. My buddy that helps me went for a ride down the slate dump to make sure it was locking and unlocking. Well he went to come back home and went up a hill and heard a Bang! Well let's say it pretty much stopped itself and wouldn't move from the hill. He ran to get me and I went to look....

Yeah....... here it goes!

The rear end must have broken inside and locked up.

This is not where it ends.

It locked so hard that it actually broke the shaft stub off coming out of transmission to the rear drive shaft.........

Yep its prob going to be setting awhile....

Sad Day for me....

Sorry it seems like the ring and pinion locked up.Pull the differential out and open it up and see if case is damaged. If not i think some one on the UTV forum has one for sale. The shaft in the trans is easy to replace and not to expensive. If you need any help send me and email.Or call 928 344 2117 ask for Matt.I have ring and pinion if you need it.Its new so see if some one has a used one it will be a lot less.

Thanks Guys! I'm going to maybe look into somethings when it's apart and see about motors that might bolt up. And maybe a different rear end. I don't know if it's me or what but I'm tired of this rear..

This makes 3rd time iv had it apart..... after yesterday I don't think it's going to be very good outcome when I pull it apart....lol

Is that all, LOL, I don't even bother to unbolt the housing any more, I just pop the inner CVs and pull the allen heads holding the right side cover on and pull the ring gear assembly out, but I did adjust clearance on previous removals. Now that my radiator is up where the spare tire was (sort of) and the spare tire is hanging off the rear of the engine cover bed, it's even easier to do.

Matt is the parts man.He is on vacation will be back on Tue.I am standing in for him till tomorrow. And is just the owner i have retired i had to take it back from Jose because he could not make the payments. What i can say is we have been buying from China direct. So we can some times get parts from China that Joyner has stopped making.Older models 650 Commandos 800 cc Viper 650 spider. We will carry all these parts + the new up dated parts.Meaning you more options.Like the ring and pinion for all the models front and rear.We are the only Joyner dealer with the 650 commandos rear differentials in the world.Hope this helps you under stand my position.Retired!!!!!!!!.By the way we due have the front differential 690.00

I just purchased a used 2023 Massimo warrior UTV SxS 1000mx with 600 miles on it. I didn't even get a full day of riding and the driver's side rear axle broke. I'm pretty sure it was already going bad because we would hear a noise once in a while. I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems with theirs. Also looking for places to buy accessories.

Our R&D team just finished the first unit and wanted to show you guys. Need more cargo space without losing the functionality of being able to fold down the seat to use the full bed? Eagle Mountain Outfitters, the maker of the original metal UTV roof, has designed a foldable rear cargo basket to meet your needs. Price is $625 + $30 shipping.  If you have any question's, please reach out to me at [email protected]

in desperate need of a rear differential for my 2014 wildcat 1000. It has blown up right in the midst of the hurricane that struck us here in N/W N.C. I could really use this machine right now. No luck finding this from Artic Cat or the many numerous online vendors. Any info or resources wil be greatly appreciated !

Just received delivery of a 2024 AMP Pro.  Thought I'd start a thread with my impressions as I use it and learn more.  There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of real-world usage information out there on this model.  Hope this will help others as they research.
      Intended Use Cases
Fire mitigation / slash removal from a 5 acre forested and well-gamble-oaked property.  The previous owners thought as much about fire mitigation as I do about fashion: not much. Snow removal Stump pulling General hauling (rock, lumber, etc.) Weimaraner energy depletion.  Wasn't an original use case, but a nice added bonus.  Experiences So Far
Wasn't impressed that two of the bumpers on the underside of the bed where it sits upon the frame were missing.  The metal on metal contact has damaged the powder coating and the frame.  I expect a little better QC.
I've only put a few hours on it, so not a ton to report on usage.  It isn't quiet; it's silent.  I can't even detect an electric note from the motor. I removed (and subsequently replaced) the motor cover noticed that the motor is German and made by Schambuller.  The motor controller is Italian and made by Dana TM4.  Given the operating specs of both I found on the web, I suspect both are higher quality than the previous Navitas (which is supposed to be decent).  The motor is rated at 25 hp and 71.5 lb-ft of torque.  It feels very powerful.  All the torque is delivered instantly, if desired.
The bed is huge and has an electric dump as standard.  Great feature but would like it to go up a bit more.  Probably not feasible from an engineering perspective, but I want and I need ;).
Power steering is nice, but vague.  Probably common to many UTVs, but I am accustomed to more direct results from input.  Plan early and plan often.
In our first full day of usage, we hauled about 1/2 as much slash as the entire rest of the year when I was doing it by hand cart.  I may get fatter, but I'll also get more done.  After a few days of usage, the battery meter has gone down by 1/10th.
      Until next time...
