I had some problems with the wheels hitting the steering tie rods during sharp turns so I took my dremel tool to them and ground off some welding bumps and I thought I had it fixed. I also had a problem making hard turns, it would seem to get harder to turn about half way to full lock turns. To fix this, I did a modification to allow me to take out the free play between the sliding gear and the top of the box and then I took it down to my local tire guy and they said I had zero toe in, So I adjusted it so I had about 5/8" toe in, should be .98", but I have severe tie rod wheel interference now.

One of the things I learned on my 08 Trooper was that minimum turn radius was determined by the CVs, if you adjusted for to too tight of turn, the CVs bound up, on my 2015, I couldn't even turn it to the stops with out grinding the inside of the wheel off. So I took a grinder to the tie rods and got it to where I can just hit the stops with out stopping the wheel from spinning. Take a look my photo at https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0ByQAhs0e-yF9UFA2ZmdzOVQ0TzQ&usp=sharing . There are more photos in the zipped file.

Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it.

I know you've been around for long time, you're a good member, it turns out that Joyner ordered some wheels that have too much back set, I think that's the correct term.

Thanks, I'll check 'em out.

Sent an email to Brandon at Joyner USA yesterday about my problem with the tie rods hitting the wheel and I got my reply today, He's going to replace all 5 wheels and both tie rods because of the damage I did to them with a grinder to get the clearance I needed, FOR FREE. I'm very pleased with Brandon and Joyner, They've taken really, really good care of me and my problems.

Keep up the good work Brandon,

Jeff

      Hi
I have a 2022 hisun sector eps 550. 30amp fuse is blown for eps. Checked the motor and it’s fine. Opened up the controller and found a bad diode. Dealer wanted 500$ for the controller. Just posting this in case it helps someone. I couldn’t read numbers from the old one so just took a guess and replaced it with a 100v 3amp diode.

2002 ranger 500 4x4 stopped running and wouldn't restart. Service manual wiring diagram helped identify the hub safety switch as the culprit. Using jumper wires to bypass  switch allowed the engine to start and run normally. Inspection of switch showed melted epoxy and a strong smell of burnt electrical. Unable to find replacement part either used or new. Is there a work around other than jumper wiring?

I generally use my challenger for light duty misc. use, and for plowing. The one thing I dislike about this machine is the difficulty in shifting. I've had it the shop and they adjusted the shifting lever, but I still have issues. Some times it shifts ok, but the problem is it is hard to get it to move the lever from high to reverse or low to high or from any gear to the other. Seems I always have to accelerate a little to get it to engage to what gear I need it to go to. This is definitely not normal.

Recently I had an overheating issue on my 2022 Coleman Outfitter 550 (Hisun UT550) and to check to make sure it was fixed I took it out for a ride around the block. After a couple cycles on the LED coolant meter, I took it for a couple mile ride and on my way back I heard a loud metallic snap then a grinding noise. It was still able to move under its own power but very slowly. I was about 2 blocks from the truck so 'I limped it home and up onto the trailer. I know I need to tear it apart and look for what broke, but anyone have a guess as to where to start? I'm seriously getting tired of this damn machine! 750 miles on it and already replaced the belt, wet clutch, primary clutch, clutch roller weights among a few other things. Seriously, this friggin machine has spent more time on the lift than on the road. I thought I bought this new because it was from the owner of a tractor supply, but he registered it under the stores name making me the 2nd owner voiding any and all warranties.
Any Ideas what to look for would be appreciated.
      Thanks
