2019 Coleman 550 Outfitter, need help accessing tail gate latch screws

Success!(almost).  I followed Pop Bobs instruction.  Worked great.   I struggled trying to clear the side panel around the dump lever handle.  The side panel was hung up there, I didn’t want to break anything, so I didn’t struggle too long.  I had enough clearance to tighten up the remaining screw and added a replacement.  The replacement is a hex head, silver.   Sadly I ordered the wrong length screw, it works, but I’ll order a longer one, and take the panel off and change.  Thanks so much for your help.  IMG_1983.thumb.jpeg.50a0659423b7e862052b3cff2c2d0b7c.jpegIMG_1985.thumb.jpeg.6ebababe131193e178906e038ea2ce2c.jpegIMG_1982.thumb.jpeg.4e6c51e5624348df615733b2f77d471d.jpeg

Yes, there was some interference with the dump release lever. Bot there is enough flexibility to just deform the panel a little and it comes right out. From your picture I’d say 3 or 4 mm longer will work and not introduce any clearance issues with the tailgate. Nice job. I should have checked the tightness on my bolts while I had it apart. As an aside, I had to rethread 2 more of the screws because they were run in cross threaded with an impact driver. 😖

I started my UT400 but forgot to buckel my seat belt.  It bogged down and then died.  Only way I could restart it was to press the gas pedal and if I let up on it, it stalls.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

The conversion took about 350lbs. off the vehicle.  It never rode great, but now I feel every  crack in the road.  I have backed off spring compression nut to the point just under where they would move around if suspension was at full extension, but it is still very stiff.  I would like to put some softer coilover springs on it, but I have no idea what the spring rate is with the original springs so I would just be guessing on what to order.  Does anyone have the data for the original spring compression rate?  I am willing to give up a little ground clearance for a softer ride. Right now when sitting still the rear suspension is at or near full extension and the rear tires have several degrees of camber which will cause uneven wear if allowed to continue in this state.

My buddy has a ut400 that the forward gear keeps popping out of gear. She only has like 400 miles on the odometer .the shift cable has been adjusted and the shift lever has been updated / modified. All other gears are good. Is there an internal detent cam or something that wears out or shift fork that can be replaced ? Or is there some other magic that I can perform ? Looks like the engine needs to be split.

I just picked up a 2021 Coleman UT400 and one of the things it needs is a gas cap. I believe it needs the 2021+ version with mail threads. Anybody know where I can get one? Coleman isn't shipping anything out right now. I believe the part number is P315001811400000. The only after market gas caps I see available are before 2021.
