At over 3500k Miles on my trooper. My a arm joints were shot. Ordered new from joyner USA but sent them back. I felt they were low quality especially for $25 a piece. They were nylon injected but the nylon was loose inside the end. I expected more for $25 a piece.  And honestly the original heims were clearly higher quality. It concerns me that Joyner may be supplying lesser quality parts than they used to.

I ended up ordering QA1 time joints from eBay for $19 apiece they are also nylon injected but higher quality. The part number is :

QA1 MXMR16 Rod End (X) Endura Alloy Ht M-R 16Mm-16Mm

May want to pin this in part section of this forum.

I got mine at McMaster-Carr 4483T36
PTFE/Kevlar Insert, M16 x 2.0 x 40.mm shank, 21,966 lb static radial load capacity, 23°, $25.60 ea. or $204.80 for 8

This is already in parts and pieces, but I had to do a search to find it, but I will add your reference also.  It's not as pretty as just the joint, but on everyone of my joints, I slid a piece of polyurethane foam behind the joint, packed it with grease and then covered it the foam and then taped the foam down to the arm, not as pretty, but I would rather not change heims all the time.

Ps I'll see if I can find my photos of the process tomorrow, good night :)

Hi we sell heim joint seals. We have different sizes. With this type of seal it should keep the joint clean for a long time. You will have to slide them in the sides. No grease, it does attract dirt and sand into the heim joint. We are carrying a much better quality heim like the one you purchased at a better price. We are carrying UHMW bushings for the rear of all joyners.

Thanks, Rick

There is just one really good upgrade possible, by using different joints that will hold up to 50.000km without any problems. I drive them on both of my buggies - its perfect.

Price: 320€ - and you never need to think again about that stuff.

The stock joints ( doesn't matter which manufacturer) are not working, because of wrong installation position when placed in. These bearing are made to fit vertical, not horizontal.

I want to ditch my Kubota RTV-XG850 and its moronic twitchy throttle design flaw, get rid of the problematic engine and the 40 mph purposely throttled speed.
So far, I'm looking at the Honda Pioneer 1000 and the Polaris Ranger 1000, both of which have 1000-1500 lb payload bed capacity.
What other makes and models should I be looking at?

      Thanks for the help!

I have an Axis 500 4x4 UTV that I was given.  It looks like an almost new machine with 39 hrs on it however it was apparently under water from the hurricane . I have no spark at the plug. I have replaced the plug, the plug wire, & the stator so far. Can anyone advise me of what i need to check and or replace to get this thing running? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
                                    Thank You,

Looking for information on installing a OBD port or a lite to read codes in ECM.
I can not find a OBD port or a lite to read codes on this R2 with 800cc.
I have code readers and adapters for most ATV's. From what I've found so far. They don't have a connection for to read codes. I may be wrong. That's why I'm asking.
This R2 has had new IAC, TPS, MAP, fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump replaced. This was done by neighbor to try to stop surging. It still surges on start up and then settles down. But once you hit the accelerator it revs up to 2000+ rpm and stays till you block off IAC port in throttle body with finger. Once you do that it once again settles down and idles perfectly.
I want to know what the ECM is reading to help dio it.
This joyner is the first one I've run across. Well second one in a week. (my neighbors 2 of them) The other was a trooper with the 1100cc chery motor that had been setting for years. After cleaning up the fuse box connections. It runs like a top. Had to replace all gages with aftermarket gages. Water, oil, gas, amp. Only problem one was the water temp using original sending unit. Had to install 150 ohm resistor on the input wire to get it to read correctly + - 5 degrees. Close enough. Gas sending unit was/is for a boat tank 6" tall. All SS so it should last forever.
      thanks Dan D. aka staind
