1-Got  some clicking type noise as if metal to metal and sounds like it is coming from both front and rear A arms. They don't have anything their to grease except maybe take the bolt out and slide back in it?

2-Also manual doesn't give a brand name for the oil filter or a cross reference to buy one at auto parts store.

3-Air filter---where is it? manual I goggled has it in 2 different locations but NO air filter to be found. Maybe it doesn't have one.

4-Love the buggy so far, got LED lights, stereo system, seat covers.......yep and got stuck mugging first time out but had a blast.

Thanks

Well got the filter/housing  out of buggy (had to loosen the entire shifter/brake assembly). Dude I bought  buggy from lied to me...it was so nasty I was surprised it would even start. Even 5 year old grandson didn't want to touch it.

Dropped oil pan bolt to change oil and it to was nasty, let it drain for awhile while I played with grandson. Can back and has some overspill on driveway. Cleaning the belly pan under motor and a spring with small filter from that belly pan from on ground as I was cleaning. I assumed it came from on top of drain plug. Spring fit in plug with a small screen type filter towards pan and I screwed it in, HOPE that is the way it goes. Had to go out of town to work so I stopped there. Headed this week to Tractor Supply for air/oil filters in my work town. I guess I should check gear case oil as I am being surprised on taking someone else's word for maintenance.

None If I can figure out the noise from A arm front and back, another weekend.

This is the spring that I found on the belly pan under motor as I was clean up my oil mess. I am hoping this is correct as I put it back into oil pan???

Anybody know if this is correct before I put oil in it this weekend. Thanks

I realize this is a old post but if you are still having the metal to metal noise from the Arms I would check your bushings.  Mine wore out fairly quickly.  I order new ones from an online dealer and they are much better than the stock bushing.

Sorry so slow getting back to your reply. The A-arms have a bolt/nut that holds the arm to the frame, no bushings at all unless I am missing something here. Thanks

I have the factory service manual available for the Buck 400. Just send me a message with your email and I'll get it to you. Although there is no charge for this, it would be great if  you would visit my website where you could donate any amount to help do things like this with others who need it. Again, there is no charge for this manual, and no obligation to donate. But if you did, I would thank you for sure. Have fun on the trails. www.warriorsoffroad.com

      Hi All
Just installed a predator 670 on my Landmaster. My question is can I remove the low oil pressure wire fitting and plumb my mechanical gauge into that access point?
Thanks in advance for your advice !!

Neighbor rode their Coleman with the park brake apparently not fully released. Needless to say, things got pretty hot and even started smoking and the smoke was definitely gear oil smell. Looks like oil is coming from the area just behind the disc for the park break. Looking at parts diagram, there is an oring behind the nut/washer that attaches the flange to pinion shaft. I'm not finding anything on YT that would help with disassembly. Anyone have some experience with removing rear driveshaft ?

      Got a 2021 Axis 500.
I'm needing the head bolt torque specs.
      Manual states 38nm.
But saw a video Hisun put out on YT for a 550 stating 50nm + 45° turn of wrench. Didn't think they would be that much difference on a 500 and a 550.
Seen another YT video on a 2013 500. He did 38nm.
Really only want to do this job once and done. And done correct.
      Anybody got the answer?
Going to start this rebuild in a few once this weather brakes. Flooding and then snow and cold here now. But spring is around the corner and the wife has to have this fixed or a Honda pioneer may be parked in driveway soon. She has to be able to ride.

When we first heard the noise, we immediately stopped driving it...at first we thought it might be a linkage issue, but after further inspection looks like the sound/jolting is coming from the rear diff. Took a video below...
Anyone know what is creating the diff to skip/jump like this? We drained the diff oil and didn't look terrible, no metal.
Other info that may be useful:
      1400 miles on it
      Recently tightened the E brake
P.s. never posted on this forum before, let me know if the video does not work
