I have a 2011 Kawasaki mule model 4010 with gasoline engine.  The cooling fan is not working. I took the front cover off and unplugged the fan and it works fine on a 12 volt battery. The fuse is good also. I am having trouble finding the temp switch.  Most sources say it is on the radiator but there is not one on this model.  Is in on the engine?

Thanks. I may need to replace the thermostat also.

I just found out that this model does have a temp sensor on the engine that sends information to the ECU which turns on fan thru a relay.

I hope to do some more checking today if rain holds off.

Thanks

Fan, fuse and relay is good. I can inject 12 volts at relay and fan works.  The sensor on engine resistance seems ok but voltage is not right. I hooked a 100 ohms resistor in hope that would trick ECU into turning on the fan relay with no luck.

I  need to pull ECU and check  wiring and contacts for corrosion. I have unhooked battery in hopes of resetting computer. Raining now.

If ECU is bad I may just install a toggle switch and run fan that way.

Now that cooler weather is here the fan will not be coming on much anyway.  I hope there is not another problem lurking around.

I need a pair of front shocks for a Landpride Treker 4200NT, from 2005?  Does anyone know of a good salvage yard - or another source?
The old shocks have "SEBAC 11685 12 3" stamped on them (or something very close - it's hard to read). I think SEBAC are (were?) an Italian company.
Is there a compatible shock I can use? I don't have easy access to a scrap yard where I can compare shocks etc.
      Thanks,
      -Kim

      Hi
I have a 2022 hisun sector eps 550. 30amp fuse is blown for eps. Checked the motor and it’s fine. Opened up the controller and found a bad diode. Dealer wanted 500$ for the controller. Just posting this in case it helps someone. I couldn’t read numbers from the old one so just took a guess and replaced it with a 100v 3amp diode.

I've got a 2023 UT400 (bought from tractor supply) and I've been beating my head against a wall with it.
It will start and idle perfectly. The second I touch the throttle it sputters and dies.
I've checked that the fuel pump is working  (it is).
I've replaced the injector, throttle position sensor, O2 sensor, and intake air sensor. All with no change.

I've just taken a look a the schematic, and there is a crank position sensor as well.

Could this be the source of my troubles? If so, where is this thing located? I can't seem to find it on any drawings from the parts suppliers.

the regen braking on my e1 has stopped working unless (for eg) I am going down a hill in low and it's slowing things down to stick to the 10kph limit. when I drive and take my foot off the accelerator it's not initiating the regen to slow things down and instead just coasts at whatever speed it is at, or speeds up as the regen is not limiting it. the brake lights work, so it's probably not a fault with the sensor on the brake pedal

hoping someone else might be able to provide some suggestions on things to check, as the mob that I bought it off seem to have gone silent on me
